It's the Pro-Line Pro2...sounds very professional.
I'm not sure if they have discontinued the kit.

They had a buggy, monster truck and a stadium i believe.. All long discontinued years ago. 2020ish I was looking for them.

The person who is selling play's a big factor in buying something used, the seller i bought this buggy from has good collection of EP cars and has a channel with over 500 subscribers he only has good condition cars and knows what he is doing.
I contacted another FB seller today about 2 rc's he had for sale and his communication through FB was so bad i was no longer interested in his sale.

They had a buggy, monster truck and a stadium i believe.. All long discontinued years ago. 2020ish I was looking for them.

I’ve bought half the RC cars I’ve owned, used. Every single used rc I’ve bought was a nitro. All my electrics are new. All my nitro cars cost half or less than a new one. And, I e got as much or more in them versus the cost of a new one.

But, they were mine. I built them better then they were new. It however came with the price tag. Because every single seller except one misrepresented what they were selling. Purposely. It’s human nature at play.
But, you got a good’er one. I like sellers like that.

I'm not going to cover everything but the most important thing to me is part support. I don't want to buy a car that I can't get parts for, otherwise I recommend making it a shelf queen. The OP's car is a perfect candidate for a shelf queen as it appears to be practically new, I would simply keep it that way if it were me.

Generally, most used cars have been neglected and may cost more money to restore than if you simply bought new in the first place. Not uncommon to get a deal on a used car just to salvage for parts and that can be wise if you're in a pinch for a discontinued car.

If you have a 3D printer and are willing to create molds to make custom parts for discontinued cars, then go for it, just don't make a lame post later on asking where to get parts for a discontinued car, go put in the work and search eBay for a slider to get your parts... then you'll quickly realize that amazing steal turned into a money pit after your first break

I've bought few new and a few used. I honestly like pulling the used ones apart. It's funny to see what people have cobbled together and sold as "nearly complete" and "ready to race". I pull everything apart on the off-road trucks due to the abuse those things get. I enjoy tracking parts and getting it back better than new.

I am new to this hobby and bought used... I am ok with buying used at this time. Got a Rustler with some aftermarket parts, seems to run ok and no issues so far. Been a fun past few days and learning that pavement, lipo 2s power, and trying to do wheelies really burn up the tires

Next car, may just get brand new but we shall see. I have a couple vacations and bdays to plan for...

That’s a great car. And while most diehard rc guys have/do own a rustler, there’s not a better first car. It’s fast. Dang fast. And, it’s very forgiving being it’s that fast. Tough as nails too as long as you don’t hit an Xmaxx head on. Both doing full throttle. Still only had to replace a shock tower and the turnbuckle. lol.

Anyways, you got a great car man.
