Just had a thunderstorm with impressive winds
And the weather seemed to lied. They pushed the rain back to like 10pm. Well I guess not...
Had a few water leaks in the basement and everyones like hurry run and I'm like I'm not hurrying it's just a small leak at the door and all the water went back to the sump pump anyways. Also bc these people were in a pissy mood for nothing like usual.

My carport roof is metal so you can hear the lightest rain. It was very heavy rain so I won't have to water the lawn.
No hail thank gawd because I don't have any protection for my Tundra.

the weather here should've been colder from now on but whatever, my test week ends tomorrow so I'll finally get to take a step out of my airconditioned room
Already planning to go swimming tomorrow and saturday, pick up a cheap nitro and have a BBQ at my friend. I'll try to get the RC flying license quickly and summer can finally actually begin for me.

So far this season we have only had 14 days over 100°F. Not as many as last year at this time, but we are just getting started.

Today we are lucky, only supposed to be 98°F. Next weekend os looking like 106°F.

Meh… The weather ninja’s have adopted the same sensationalism as the regular news media… Tornado WARNING used to mean there had been touch down. Now they use it in place of tornado WATCH.. I’ve been within spitting distance of (4) tornado’s in my life, and directly under (2) funnel clouds (actually won my class at “RC Traxx” in Raleigh the same evening of the first one). 2wks after we moved from Lincoln, Nebraska 45yrs ago, a massive one came through, and wiped out everyone there. It’s BS, imo, and shouldn’t be allowed..
