Blew the trash can over and had to pick up recyclables from the yard and celler way
Windy GIF

Was a nice sunny day in the mid to upper 40s today. Enjoyed the drive to Buff City Soaps for Mrs. B today and the sidetrack to Culver's. Winds picked up and it'll drop to about 20 tonight. Wonder how Punxsutawney Phil would taste with a nice Chianti and some Fava beans.

Beautiful day today, It's 73° right now, and there is a nice breeze. Tomorrow is supposed to be 57° and raining, but I'm not mad at all. I will take every drop of rain we can get, we are below average again this year.

I'm really thinking your postings in every season except summer is are out there just to taunt me.😉 I really think it's unfair that I only have one season to "gloat" in your direction.
Summer's coming.......🤣

Ky Weather :

TODAY

  • Temps surge into the 60s.
  • A strong southwest wind cranks with gusts of 30mph-40mph by late this afternoon.
  • Strong to severe storms develop and move into far western Kentucky late this afternoon.

TONIGHT

  • Winds absolutely crank with gusts topping 50mph at times.
  • Local 60mph gusts will be possible.
  • A squall line of showers and storms races from west to east across the state.
  • This line may be severe with damaging winds the main threat as this line rolls quickly eastward.

WEDNESDAY

  • The day starts with strong to severe storms exiting eastern Kentucky.
  • A dry slot directly behind this line may allow sunshine to help crank those winds again.
  • Early day gusts of 50mph will be possible.
  • Another round of showers and storms then sweeps eastward by early in the afternoon.
  • A few of these may be strong.
  • Temps tank behind this with wrapround rain and snow showing up across western and central Kentucky by evening.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT

  • Periods of light to moderate snow will be likely across central and eastern Kentucky.
  • Light accumulations are a good bet with some local 1″ amounts possible.
  • Most of what sticks will be on elevated surfaces and elevated surfaces.
  • Winds will continue to be gusty, meaning some pretty good plastering of the wet snow.
  • Temps drop into the 20s with wind chills in the teens.
  • Slick spots may develop on bridges and overpasses.
