Asphalt read 127 degrees. Tires on the slash red 136 degrees after a few minutes. And a few minutes after that the ESC went to thermal mode. Spun a wheel bearing too so that's why it also overheated

Well, a hundred or so racers braved it out at the RCHRA event in Crofton, MD. Got to near 100! Sea of tents, gennys with fans hooked up. Luckily the humidity was mild for this area this time of year at around 55 percent, and there was a solid breeze.

We guzzled water all day. Had to piss a lot, lol, but better to be on the safe side.
