I know, I know, but I live in NH. So, it's a different standard than your place of residence: Mordor

Yeah, same here. Over 70 is uncomfortable 😅

Today we hit 92°. It felt like I stepped into an oven outside.

Hitting 95° today. Last night, after it had dropped to 81°, my AC was still running non-stop. Think the building must have nearly become molten, and the AC was trying to cool it down 😝

I'm really hoping this heatwave underachieves this weekend. Last weekend they were calling for temps in the upper 90's during the week, but it's only made it to the low 90's. Keeping fingers crossed. Then again, hot road = really fast ETs :D

We're currently under what's called a heat dome that is caused by the jet stream locking us in a high pressure zone in the eastern half of the US. It'll pass. In the meantime, suck it up buttercup 😝

Pictured here is the HeatRisk forecast map for Thursday, June 20, 2024. The lowest risk (green shading) signifies no heat risk, while the magenta shading signifies "extreme" risk, the highest level on the scale from 0 to 4.

I see no green shading 🤔
