if you see a cool car, classic, tuner, exotic, truck, race car, whatever you think constitutes as a cool vehicle. or hell even a weird vehicle. snap a pic and share it here.

i drove past Toprank Imports on my way home from work today (i do that often) so enjoy the JDM

I want to import a car at some point I have heard things about them I might use them,

also does my own car count?

A picture of my dad and his 1928 Model A. This was a true 'barn find.' One of my earliest memories in life was going to pick up this car probably 1998/99. It took him 9 years to restore. I didn't catch the classic car/hot rod bug like he has, but I'm thankful to have spent my childhood watching him repair and wrench on it. Without seeing him doing that I certainly wouldn't have grown up with the mechanical aptitude that I have.

Maybe someday I'll have time for a restoration. Until then, I'll keep wrenching on my RCs during my lunch break 😂

My Dad had a 31 2dr sdn.
It was stock, not rodded at all.
I remember going to Friendly's Ice Cream as a kid in that car.
I loved the Aaaaaauuuuuuuuuuggggaaaahhhhhhhh horn!
I was prob the only 8 year old kid who knew how to start one of those cars in the whole state! 🤣
We owned a salvage yard... when I say we had a LOT of cars, it would be an understatement.
The car I "learned to drive" in was a 1970 442. Blue/white stripe/white interior/white top rag top with a 455 and an auto.
Fully loaded car with A/C!
My neighbor bought it from us and i had to drool over it for about 10 years! 🤣
Oh dear Lord, the cars we had and the stories I could tell! ❤️❤️❤️

I read a great article a few years back and I'm trying so hard to find it again.

But basically it explained that as much of a poop show that modern car culture is, such as with kids cutting the exhaust off their civics and anti lagging N/A cars, that that's how hot rodding was born. Just some hooligans ripping the poop out of pos cars same as back in the 60s.

This was in front of me during the bumper to bumper on ramp exit, today. I didn't even know they still made NSX up until recently. Sharp looking car!

I agree. The biggest issue I have with car culture today is kids with too much money, no brains and no souls.
In hot rodding there will always be "to each his own"... That said, I toss and turn at night tginking that somewhere, my Dad's Model A with all our memories in it, is now a gold plated, honda powered monster truck with 48"wire wheels and slicks. Maybe something with hydrauliccs to really frost it all...
A LOT of the stuff that I see just does NOTHING for me.
I can appreciate the effort and skill involved in destroying the vehicle but make no mistakes about how I feel about a fair amount of them.
I have also seen a fair amount of cars done with style and class that could be considered "hacked up" but in a way that I could see being close to a DD too.
There was a 4X4 427 el camino on 36's that just pushed ALL my buttons!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I wonmt sell my convertible for a number of reasons but my fear of watching some asshat tub it and drop a Chevy LS motor in a 70 Dodge with 46k miles on it. It sort of makes me want to restore it back to 1970 stock just to piss em off!
Disc brakes ARE better than drum for at least my driving style. Don't care.
I'm also not trying to race my 70 ALL METAL Dodge.
I guess thats what gets me. If you want a Honda that looks like a 67 Firebird, call Year One and buy good pannels and get to welding.
Don't take a classic car and hack it to death til a honda motor fits... souless act imo.
To each his own... lol!

I used to see one of these every day on rt 125 in Andover Ma.
It was the 1st version of the car so super-car low and space ship looking.
Very cool to see back in the day.
All aluminum I believe.
