Testors Model Car Paint

Has anyone used their paints lately. I tried painting the Injora motor with it. 2 weeks later it’s still very tacky to the touch with some colors. Red is worst and orange isnt much better. Yellow did good though. Looked online and seen it could be old paint or not stirred up enough. Anyone else have this issue?

If it's not acrylic this will happen on a lot of softer plastics.

i used Testors paint all the time. i build the hell out of model cars. i know from experience there are some materials you can't use Testors paint on. on model cars for example, you can't use it on tires. it'll never dry. no joke i have a set of tires i painted white walls on in the mid 90's and it's still "wet" (sticky and comes off on your fingers).

I remember this from a long long time ago too.
Never dried on some stuff.

Some plastics require a primer made for plastics, before painting.
