Their former Sr. Editor is a public figure within the online community and he’s a major asshat. And by that, I mean a pretentious know-it-all who is never wrong and mocks people for asking questions.

I loved the magazine when I was a kid. I even had a few cars featured in Readers Rides. I won’t even give it chance these days.

I had the joy of lining up next to him and beating his doors off at the 2022 Solid Axle Showdown. In real life, he’s a passive shy-guy but, boy, don’t let him get behind a keyboard. That’s when he’s brave. 😂
I think I MIGHT even brag about this a little. 🤣

He knows all there is to know about building the "perfect racer" but doesn't know a thing about driving. My son was 5 at the time and was running faster times than him.

I'm fairly easy going and can honestly say, I despise very few people on this planet. This dude is one of them. Nothing about him is good for our hobby but he considers himself a messiah.

Listen, I know this is a public forum, but just between us, how do you really feel??? 🤣🤣🤣

*takes deep breath.

I think I got it all out.

Back to our regularly scheduled program. 🤣

if it's the guy I'm thinking of, legitimately can't remember his name, i concur. there was a time shortly after he left RCCA when RC Nightmare was a growing thing with a good forum that Jeremy blasted him for being a douche. i jumped on board cause i had prior issues with him on the dying/dead RCCA forum. well the guy got wind of it and joined the Nightmare forum just to argue. it went a couple pages and ether Jeremy or Brandon deleted the thread and may have banned the guy, he never posted there again.

Sounds about right. Has to be him.

I would post his name but I’m sure he googles himself often and would likely find this post.

I got an email from Air Age, I guess that's the company behind rcca magazine. They said they would send me the Sept - Oct issue and that the magazine is now published 6 times a year instead of 12.

If it goes how it normally does, soon it will be quarterly, and then gone.

Yup, it probably will disappear soon. Magazines have changed a lot since the "good old days". In the 1960's Car and Driver and Road and Track were absolutely great. Not any more. The cars they wrote about were a lot more interesting than anything made today, too.
