Knocked this freak’n Robins nest off my house. Tell me it doesn’t resemble a jockstrap/nut cup… 🤣

Not more than a couple hours ago I was watching Deadliest Catch and there were a bunch of Bald Eagles at the docks in the show. And I was thinking to myself how I have never once seen a Bald Eagle here in Indiana. I have seen them before in West Virginia and a couple other places, but never here.

I was just outside and one flew right over my head, tree top high and he looked down right at me. It is by far the craziest thing that has ever happened to me, because I was just wondering why I have never seen one here. I was pretty much in shock.

As seen at my house over past two weeks…not sure if the one on the garage is a young hawk of some sort

Saw one of these yesterday. First time I have ever seen one, and I guess they are a very rare bird to see. It is the Yellow Breasted Chat. They supposedly have some pretty cool songs, which might explain the very pretty bird calls I have heard lately that I've never heard before.

I have a couple of feeders around my place, around this time of the year all of the pretty bird sounds will get drowned out by "plagues" of grackles. They're mean but they're good at keeping predators out of the yard.

Grackles have the coolest eyes. :thumbs-up:
