I’d go Team Associated no doubt about it. The fact that it’s running Reedy Electronics alone would make it a no brainer for me personally. That’s on TOP of the durability difference over the Traxxas.. Not just knocking Traxxas-it’s just a fact lol.
You would choose the stock MT10 over the Rustler 4x4 Ultimate?

You guys are making me rethink my choice. I really like that MT10. Looks like I’ll be on YT all night. Again 😃
I have both, and I agree with the MT10... I also have the Hoss which compares more directly to the MT10 (both are HCG, and vome with center diffs)... between the MT10 and Hoss (Stampede 4x4), the MT10 is the only one I've broke, and that was stripped gears in the steering servo... not the best Reedy effort, IMO. It has an Amazon 25kg servo in it now, and it has held up just fine. The Hoss is still box stock.

Is that a website? No idea what they upgraded, but so far I've only upgraded the steering servo and replaced the plastic shocks with all aluminum models (which I've done to all of mine), not due to durability, just preference.

Just looked... $892 for an MT10 is nuts, IMO.

I think you could address any irritation on that platform for much, much less $

Ok I looked…they are just adding aluminum shocks, rpm arms, and a castle copperhead esc/motor combo, plus 125 labor to install it.

Not worth it to me. Get the truck and maybe the aluminum shocks. Rpm arms are cheap too but I’d wait and see if I had an issue with the stock ones. The esc/motor I would also hold off on until it became an issue

Edit they also add a savox servo

Definitely a no-go for me. They take the kit and mod it. So technically, it's a used RC to me. That knocks $60 off the price I'd pay on the RTR. All the parts they installed are now used as well. So cut the prices of all those. And pay them $125 to do the funnest part of putting it together? Nope. No thank you.

Not that they are worth a whole lot, but they probably don't give you the original parts either.

There are all kinds of people out there providing a service to build a ride for others... and some people don't mind paying for it.

Yeah I know. The OP asked. So I answered 😉

And to think I tossed and turned a lot when trying to decide on a few of my past rides. 🤪 😆
Information overload. Oh, the choices. It's all good. What would we do without the interwebs?
