The b7.1 ....beauty is only a lightswitch away. I put together this simulation to show it in an ideal setting as a shelf queen....

Personally, if I were to get an RC10, it would have to be as close to the original as possible. To buy one that shares some of the same parts as a B7, I would just buy the B7, save some $$, and have a better car.

I have thought about getting one of the re releases since I sold off all my original Associated cars in the early 90's ....never should have done that! I would most likely grab the Jammin Jay edition for nostalgia sake.

I hear ya on the vintage. I had an original gold pan way back, and have 1 still here. I regret parting with the first . The only problem I have with the old stuff is it always comes with a reluctance to take it out and run it as hard as I want. Older brittle plastics, lack of original parts availability without spending huge money etc. Looks wise that rear cab design has it in spades all day.

My B7 is great. I've got it pretty dialed in and have a lot of fun with it on a clay indoor track nearby. I usually push it to the side and grab my B74.2 though.
One of these days I am gonna make the trip. There is an indoor clay oval track about an hour and a half away from me they have an outdoor dirt oval as well.

I like the updates, but if your going to spend the money on this, then why not just get a B7.1 which is newer, better, and a little cheaper????

I think its awesome for the guys who race vintage, which is making a pretty strong comeback. I know rc madness in ct has added 2wd vintage to its club racing schedule. If you look at most people's vintage race cars this is what you will see. So a nice crispy new kit with all the good stuff already on it is great to see. I built my own version with big bores, full rpm suspension and all the jcon goodies and it was double what this kit is. I think its fantastic.
