Last night i took the e-clip that came with my new X-Maxx pinion gear and put it on my Felony's motor shaft since i've had issues with the pinion sliding off on the motor but since it's now got the stock Spektrum motor again it has a spot for an e-clip.

Getting the blackjack 24 ready for maiden, so drilled out water cooling passages in rudder, motor water jacket, pulled rx ,motor and esc and driveshaft out, going to replace esc with a 120 from sonic wake, rx, do a little soldering on bullets and battery voltage telemetry lead, replace cooling tubing, then align and lube up.. you know premaiden run stuff..

Kind of a tight fit with that 120 esc, but i like the radio box better than any proboat models so far, the traxxas one is good as well, now this was the first time I noticed cosmoline on the flexshaft and strut bushing..took a little while and 1/2 can of brake cleaner to get that sticky stuff off, but it looks good now. I was going to change cooling tube to yellow but only had thinwall , that wouldn't work.. ill swap it later. Esc programmed, rx bound.. and calibrated it should be fun on 6s.

I took off the snow chains and installing studs in the tires of my snowplow RC rig.
I figured I would get better traction. I'm also going to add some axle weight.

The Mojave and Typhon grom both got new diffs today. Mojave stocks plastic ones were smoked and the Typhon had cheap Chinese ones that apparently broke all the screws. They were floating around in there when I opened it up. I was thinking what the hell is this tiny Phillips head that just fell out. 😂

I should probably check mine soon.

Also color matching the PL body caps for the slash.
Didnt do bomb pop scheme on there since I've ran it on there for like 4 years and I just needed something different so I went back to one of my old schemes. Black/red faded in. Semi camouflaged on a CRC carpet track. 🫠

Bomb Pop scheme on the Rusty, could have done better but it looks pretty dialed. I feel like I made the silver section too wide or long but it's ok. I'm not a perfectionist. Even so much that I really don't mask off each section I just use painters tape as a guide lol. Also yea I put the body on too fast, not letting it try and the screws for the front shocks rubbed on the paint... Ehh whatever. Idc. 🤣. Do need to trim front wheel wells as when the wheel is at full lock and suspension is compressed it rubs. Hopefully I don't have to trim off too much like I did with the stock body. Honestly I should widen the front end so I can limit rubbing on the body but widening it will make it not turn well. Hence the race truck project so.... But overall solid 8.5/10 jobs here.

Keeping both bodies plain and simple. Not overdoing stickers as I don't have many left from other brands/manufactures 😆
