I hate those HW motors and ESC's that have the wires fixed like that.Eventually, you'll have to throw them away if those wires are potted. Unless you do some major surgery.

Today i got my Horizon order in and i got my Outcast all fixed up. And now the pillow balls stay in place now and don't come loose as easily now.

How so? What did you do? I had to switch pillow ball caps to the style with the o rings and it seemed to help a lot.

I found out one side didn't have any o rings on them and the other side i switched out for some new ones.

Cross thread also helped but I dont recommend it. It is more effective than loctite but a little rough on the threads.

They're great although i had originally planned to get Trenchers a couple of years ago when i got the truck. But since the price of those beadlock Proline tires have come down to $80 USD a pair i might get those trenchers someday or i'll just stick with the MX43's. I'm planning to make my truck into one of the newer Ultimate's some time next year.

I have the same set but I rarely use them. Soo heavy. I like the new factory belted sledgehammers but I've also drastically overpowered mine. Good times!!

I thought about getting the Sledgehammer belted's for my truck also since i found them for a decent price on eBay from the chop shops. My truck is running a stock motor paired to a Firma 160.

I'm running a HW Max5 and the 1100kv motor. The esc is probably overkill but that's how I roll. Already smoked a Max6 and a CC XLX2. The Max5 seems to take the abuse really well and never gets warm.

The sledgehammers are the first tires I haven't shredded.

Got the new puter up and running. Spent a couple hours today messing with tweaks, then niticed the drive Windows was on got assigned a different volume label, instead of 0. So I immediately began reinstalling Windows again. I think I have done this with nearly every build I've ever done. I tried like hell to ignore it, but this monster named OCD made me fix it. still need to buy a new rear fan. The red one was all I had on hand.

Dealing with it can be HELL but the results are THIS!!!

ITS SO QUITE I CAN HARDLY HEAR MYSELF TYPE THIS..

They only spin about 350 RPM. Quitest machine I have ever built. I could do a video and whisperIt's quiter that my airbrush compressor. And the highest I have seen the GPU is 34°, and the CPU almost hit 40° today..

One of my gripes about pillow ball suspensions. The o-rings do help... for a hot minute.
What really saved my sanity was Hot Racing's hub nuts/pillow ball caps with Delrin cups.
