Well I busted the RPM caster block when I turned and hit a curb going fast.... I was just about to drive the car in and call it a day but I got too careless and drove into the curb... Ordered a new caster block lol

Today was maintenance day for my daily. She’s been putting in the hard miles and was starting to feel a little tired.

Did an oil change, plugs and wires, cleaned the contacts in the dizzy cap, air filter and a full transmission service.

Let me tell you… she woke right up! Felt like a different truck on the way home. I can’t wait to see how my mileage is after this tank. Usually sits around 19mpg but it’s slipped to like 15. No bueno.

My 1RC Ashpalt Modified is finally repaired after 4 weeks. I used waterslides for the decals since these cars are quite small. At first I wanted the numbers teal, but I think the red on the numbers looks really nice with the teal. The livery is inspired by Tommy Baldwin Racing, but with my own touch on it (the teal)

Putting the Limitless together. Diffs shimmed and 1m oil. Ceramic bearings throughout, PP monster servo, PP Ultimate driveshaft/spool kit, CC XLX2 and 1721 can. QS8-S connectors soldered on. RX in. Initial suspension and wheel alignment adjustments done.

Waiting for another 8mm bullet connector. I was one short 🤦‍♂️.

I fixed my mental stability by spending the day alone in my shed working on my Limitless V2 build.

Tonight I fixed myself a drink
Awesome Limitless V2 man, I'm thinking about one someday but currently i'm working on my XO-1 Called Serena and thinking about getting X-Maxx Ultimate or building mine up similar to one. Is that an XLX2\1,260kv 1721 combo?

Thanks. I didn't buy it as a combo but yes it's a 1721 1260kv.

Oh really that's cool i know Castle sells a combo with the XLX2 and the 1721 1,260kv, so i guess your Limitless will be mostly a basher and a speedrunner sometimes? i was thinking about doing something similar if i were to get a Limitless since i'm mostly a basher but do want to get into speedrunning someday.

Mostly speedrunner.

Mostly speedrunner.
Cool, Even though they have a 2,400kv version of the 1721 but i bet the would the 1,260 would run cooler and you can gear it higher and i heard some people have killed their 2,400's by either overheating them from back to back passes or doing other things to them.

Castle Creations don't do a warranty for the 2400kv. That's why I didn't get it. I'm not taking the risk. And like you said, the 1260 runs cooler and can be geared.

Yeah i heard about how they won't warranty the 2400kv i get you now that i know about it i certainly won't get one.

I finally got around to putting in the suspension screw in the steering knuckle and caster block. I had bent the previous one on a wreck and didn't think of it at the time. Now the car is back in business. I kind of want to look into fixing the front camber a bit. But I need to look into the proper camber. The right side looked more negative so I adjusted the left.

However the rear right toe in looks too far in and I'm not sure how to adjust... I know some of its by design but I still wanna look into it. I did notice the suspension bolt were they like up to be bolted in are not straight but tilted more forward then the left side
