Who was wrenching today??? What did you do??

What did you have to fix today?

I had to fix my costom rock bouncer because the drivelines blew apart again. 😮‍💨
I extended my 10.2 to a 6x6 single axle. My drive shaft was 2 male tmaxx or axial shafts held together with a female shaft and hoped up female shafts as spacers. I used a paper clip and zip tie to remove the bow in it.

When that b blew I about pissed myself. Had 20 or so parts all over. Reverse to drive full throttle on tile.

Is this essentially the same as the what were you wrenching on today thread? Just curious

Didn't have to fix any thing today. Or in a long time. I'm not doing much rc till late March again. Only running the mini b inside. which haven't broke as it's meant for smaller tracks like I'm running on. Used to run it at the old local carpet track, which is meant for 10th scales, and everyone broke on that track with mini b's

Somehow I bent the screen for the wheel on my wheelie bar. Took it out and straightened it best I could. Now the wheel spins straight and not crooked.

Took the car out for a run with my son at the park across the street. Was a lot of fun zippin around until I hit a leftover tree stump that was sticking up about 2 inches or so. I had avoided it quite a bit unless I got too close and smacked right into it going pretty quick. RPM Bumper went flying up in the air. Broke that and the front Tie bar or whatever. I also managed to get my motor mount loose from replacing the tranny the other day.

Can we put blue lock tight on the motor screws or is there no real metal on metal contact in there?

I've done electric and nitro with locktite. Blue as you mentioned. Good condition tip and some heat to remove.

I filled in stripped holes in plastic with loctite before also.

Working on enduro24 today, got the battery center mounted ordered 2s lipos, and looking at furitek esc probably going with the pro, but not sure if it is worth putting in this truck. I'm going to see how it does on just 2s, and then I will see about esc and motor. Anyone try holmes hobbies motor yet?

That is some serious glow!

This his “prototype” kit to start…dad needs to get him some parts 😂. But he made this with some old cheapo heli parts (battery and switch) and some strip lighting I had from a boat project (thought I had some white light left because he wanted light bars to run it tonight 😂). With a hot knife and a soldering iron he had it working, not bad for being 9

I had to fix my own lunch today, I had a really hard time deciding which chips go best with hotdogs.
That's ok buddy, you got this. There are support groups for your condition. :D

You're putting too much thought into it. Just grab a handful of each silly.
