General RC Information
This is Phase 2 of this vehicle. It is now Truggy length with a Losi Lasernut cage mounted to the shock towers.
Electronics:
Hobbywing Max8 Gen1 ESC
Hobbystar 4076 2000 Kv - On 4s
Lighting Electronics:
A MyTrickRC scx24 deadbolt/C10/JLU kit of your choice. The light controller is simple and awesome. It will power 3V and 5-6V LEDs
A MyTrickRC LED strip in Red for a tailight.
Stock Lasernut lights that came with the body.
Tires I have for it:
An Aliexpress 1/7 Mojave / UDR tire - quite grippy on road and fun on dirt
Duratrax 2.8"MT Six Pack - really wide and a really good tire
Proline 2.8"Badlands OG - does perfect in my dusty/rocky hard ground type surface, I just wish they were a little taller
This build thread has kept track of my version of the DB48, as budget and parts unavailability dictated the direction I took it. The methods I used to assemble this were some of my own designs as well as others that have done this type of build before me.
It can be built easily, and I think everyone should have a DB48 in the collection.
