What do you guys have as far as Car Safety?

hmmm, I use the Ofna Micro Failsafe, Throttle return spring and a fully charged RX battery as well as fresh batts in my TX .LOL.

I don't have a failsafe anymore since it would make my radio glitch, but I always make sure batteries are freshly charged in both RX and TX like Jon. I also have a full rollcage, throttle return spring and plastic bumpers in case I hit something or someone.

If you hit someone with it and your rig looks like SD's then have lots of cash or medical insurance...LOL

right now I only run at the track and they're fenced in...I had issues w/ my failsafes causing glitches so I ripped it out...friday I'll be getting another HRS receiver w/ has failsafe built in so I'll be safe again....had one and it got crushed in a horrible wrenching accident...I'm not at liberty to discuss the details.....

Never had success with getting a throttle return spring to work properly. I would imagine most of that was caused by cheap servos which made no torque.

I usually try to have a good 5-cell battery pack and a failsafe.

Second time out I destroyed my Maxx no fail safe lol, I traded Plaidfish some tires and wheels for a failsafe and will never run a nitro with out one again lmao thanks again PLaid It saved me the other day woo hooo. I need to get a battery Pack soon.

yes Rx packs are definately a must.....you'll never have a battery fall out of one...and if it does I'm sure it will be the least of your problems....

hey, I just bought a throttle return spring and I was wondering how to attatch it. I put it near the engine head on the servo arm and then on the engine mounting alan screws. I did that and tried without the electronics and it doesn't apply the brake. Is it just supposed to turn it to idle so it gradually slows down? Thanks, and if I put it on wrong, could someone please explain it to me how to put it on. Thanks a lot.
