I just use rechargable AAs. Fresh charge every run. Once that happened to my Savage but since the NIMH AAs, never again.

I have nothing............I just make sure my batts are fully charged in TX and RX each run and I also do a range check with my TX antenna down......I started doing this with my planes/helis and have since carried it over to my cars......no problems as to date..............

Hey, I have some rechargable nihm batteries, If i recharge them everytime, will it charge like a peak charger, or can it over charge and break the batteries over time.
-Pat (redhatman)

Guess it kinda depends on your charger...a good charger will just peak them. The loose AA's can still fall out of the holder on a hit or crash, had it happen to my Storm the 1st track outing.Good thing it flipped and just was upside down. Keep the loose AA's for the radio and get a RX pack. I also run Venom failsafes on both of my nitros.

does anyone have a fail safe that I could buy from them or maybe trade for? Thanks
-Pat (redhatman)

i run with an ofna micro failsafe, TRS and fresh batteries all around. thankfully i've never had any glitch issues, but i have seen them kick in....

hey, If I put a throttle return spring on my futaba 3003 servo, and it is pulling the opposite direction, will my servo die after time because of the strain that I put on it? Thanks
-Pat (redhatman)

If you get a tight spring then possibly. Just get enough tension so it will return it to neutral not any further.

3pk failsafe feature. You tried fedora?

Has the failsafe kicked in while in midair for anyone ? hehe...

hey, I made my spring so that when the battery is not strong enough, it pulls the servo back all the way to between idle and brake.

That would be interesting

will that work or break my servos?

i was wonderen the same, i tried puttin one on mine, but its either not strong enough , or it pulls it so tight the servo can push the throttle all the way open, i dont no what to do.

I use a throttle return spring as well as a failsafe. Spent too much money on these cars to take the risk of running without one.

i have a failsafe. you might so well spend £20 on a fail safe then have your car run off and brake £100 worth of stuff.
