The nitro guys usually only run 2 or 3 channels at the most and several channels with their crawlers. Lights, winches, stuff like that.
Thanks for the advice. Yeah with nitro you don’t really need all the extra bells and whistles.

Ya i havw that 1 to and its a good 1 i think i paid 45 for my flysky gt3b have had no issues
Yeah I’ve heard that a lot. And for what I’m doing I’m sure it is more than sufficient. Thanks

Dropping by to beat a dead horse.
I had a pair of radiolink RC4GS that major range issues with on truck and throttle glitching issues with another truck, I threw those radios out and went with Flysky GT5 radios and they have been great apart from the passive power draw when they are turned off.

You don't have to do what i have, I only chose Spektrum and the iXSR+ since it was what i wanted out of a radio i also like Spektrum's tech better anyone else's and i can afford it but that's just me. But yeah you can get away with a Flysky FS-GT5 the receivers for it are cheap and plentiful on Amazon and from what i hear it's good radio certainly better than Radiolink's flawed systems.
There is a firmware update for the DX6C. 4.05. Mine was 4.01 & I updated it to 4.05 & got many many new features the iXSR has. 5.5ms latency & the race settings, it goes pretty in depth. Basically it makes the DX6C nearly the same as the iXSR except for the touch screen & app store support. All the SR315 receivers & the DSMR receivers support 5.5ms latency, just have to rebind them for it to be recognized.

Yeah i know about this stuff since i got my DX6C last year and it's been a whole year since i got it and it's been rock solid for me. I'm hoping the same out of my new iXSR+ when it arrives later this month since i preordered mine last month.
