This is going to be a simple case of "you get what you pay for."
My brother and I decided to start trying to get into airbrushing ad found that my dad had an old Exacto, dual action brush. Great for stuff that had to be thinned but bad for thicker paints such as Fastcolor.
We decided to get a new one. Father and brother go to homedepot and find one made by Husky for very low price. Came as a package ... 1:1 sprayer and a detail airbrush... IT SUCKED!
The next day, went out and bought a paasche vl. Loved it ever since. Still learning, but never looking back at the cheap airbrushes.
Be prepared to spend at leat $70 for a good quality brush. You WILL get what you pay for.
