Cut a slot in the head of the screw and use a flat head screwdriver to get out

If you used loctite on the screw you might wanna heat the screw up with something like a solder iron or heat gun to melt the loctite before you start using the flat head to unscrew it

Remember to do safety squints so you don't get sparks in your sockets. Totally OSHA approved 😉🙂🫠😆

If you don't have it already, any MIP tools or bits will be a life saver. MIPs are quite good drivers. They will get out most screws if slightly stripped when some cheaper ones don't. Just from what I've found.

There are other ways to get a stripped screw out. Like using a drill with a left handed drill bit. Drill out the head. Remove the part. Use vise grips to get the remaining screw threads out of the part. Or using a similar sized torx bit. And hammer it into the head so the edges of the torx can grip the head of the hex screw.

Dremel IMHO is the most fastest and effective way. Will cost you a screw but we all have spare hardware out of the ying yang.

Today, I destroyed the front drive shaft on my 1/18 Fury-bolt. (Furitek chasis, Deadbolt body). This can happen with plastic crawler driveshafts. I think Furitek was using early Hobby Plus axles before they beefed up the drive shafts.

I got my front tire in a bind under a ledge and didn't know it, until I realized my other front tire wasn't spinning. The shaft spun itself like a candy cane, first twited, then curled. I took the photo after I uncurled it a bit. Guess it's time for some metal shafts. 🤷‍♂️
