I wanted to get one before I decided to get another. I will probably get one for my 1/10 screws and such. Really nice product.
I did the same. Grabbing two more since the first two passed the “once over”.. 😎

fluorescent lights yes and no. the problem started in my bedroom with no fluorescent lights. and continued in the garage with fluorescent lights. and continued in my friends garage with fluorescent, and friends living room with no fluorescent, and friends pool house with fluorescent. location never seemed to have an effect. it was oh crap it's humming again and i can't hear myself play, crank the knobs all the way up. sometimes id have to crank them up and down a few times to get it to work. and then eventually that stopped working.

it's this, only mines complete and in much better shape.

The guitar would be a simple rewire and also could be the amp.
If you used pedals, some are crap and can cause lots of noise.
If you still have the amp, I would plug a different guitar into it just to test the amp.
Tube amp or solid state?

Today I got a sorter bin, after seeing @Littlemotor 's I knew I needed one. It's the perfect size for all of my 1/24 & 1/18 hardware. The compartments snap nice and tight, there will be no loose bits and peices.
Until you get in a hurry and forget to double check them before you fold the thing! :rolex:

Not that I have ever done such a thing... 🤪

I'm trying to get the word "hurry" out of my vocabulary. 🤣

never used pedals. and the amp (Squire Champ 15) is good. it's had 2 other guitars plugged into it and sounded great.
i know it's the guitar cause it had the hum noise problem unless the volume and tone knobs were turned all the way up with a friends amp back in 2001.

Just bought a new Sandisk 32gb micro sd card for my iXSR+ to load pics of my cars to use for model photos and usb a and c card reader.
my new micro sd card for my ixsr order.webp

I had to buy beer today. I dont remember the last time I had to do that. I do a lot of side work and people that know me tip me with big boxes of coors light. I rarely have to buy it. I've been trying to cut back on how much side work I've been doing and that caused my beer fridge to run dry. 6 cases later, all is right with the world again.

Yeah, that's going to be a nice fall/winter project.
I need to really see what bullet/powder selection my 6mm mongoose likes.
It has less capacity than 6 arc or 6 turbo 40 or 6 fat rat..as it's 5 56 brass parent case,

But id like to see what a 105 would do single loaded..

I'm a little jealous. I've always wanted to 'roll my own' but I've too many hobbies, too little time. I'm saving that one for retirement.
