Also ordered some goodies for it along with some stuff for the Losi XXX-SCT slider. So the kiddo doesn't know it, but he's gonna have a pretty wicked SCT to go along with the Hammer Rey

I'm not sure if they are interchangesble, but those wheels are a lot different. They would probably work, but they wouldn't look tight.

Went ahead and grabbed another
QUICRUN WP 10BL120 G2 COMBO (Sensorless). So I have a 3150kv for the Hammer Rey, and a 3700kv coming for the XXX-SCT. After seeing the Hammer Rey though, I am probably going to grab a beefier ESC

Grabbed another pair off Amazon for the Hammer Rey. Anybody know of any other tires like this around that are around 142mm tall and 45mm wide? Seems to be a hard size to find, especially in an SCT wheel, which I believe is a 2.2/3.0 wheel with a 12mm hex. Kinda dumb to put a 12mm hex on wheels/tires this big, hence the search for a better option. Would be nice to gind some 17mm hex options.

I am dying to see it done. How'd the copper shielding go? I have only done that once, but it was kinda fun.

I wish I could get all my spare guitar parts to you. I have 3 or 4 necks. They probably aren't that great, but useable I believe. I also have some locking tuners along with some other odds and ends. One of these days you might get a surprize in the mail.

I've done it several times and also have used the shielding paint.
The shelf life of the paint is short though. I could only get one guitar out of a bottle.

It’s my first Traxxas so I will review it later. I can tell you I don’t like the battery plug. It came with a 3500mah 2s and a usb-c 2A charger.
