While not as exciting as wicked and his sheer hose, I did order the rest of the stuff for the boys upcoming slash build. Woulda been way cheaper just to buy the rtr raptor, but where is the fun in that . Got the body, the bumper, the grille/mirror kit and the tires/wheels. And shoot now that I just remembered I forgot the receiver I’m gonna go get that coming too

I picked up the new kit last month for his bday, fixin to turn 10 next Thursday. He’s been wanting both raptors from Traxxas. Gonna make him work for it

Mrs. Doom and I just got eye exams, and a new pair of glasses, and sunglasses each. Over three grand in one shot. I'd have much rather spent it on RC stuff. But we kind of need to be able to see.

My eyes are getting bad also and my current glasses are not good anymore.
We do the two pairs with exam for $75.

We tried that before, and they messed up our glasses so bad, they couldn't get our glasses right after six pairs. I told them I wanted my money back, and they guy pulled the, you just want to go somewhere cheaper routine on me, I told him I just want to be able to see.

He was being an incredible jerk, and I was patient up until that point. How do you mess up six pairs of glasses? The Dr. Who did the prescriptions said he didn't know how they could be so far off. I was ready to punch the guys lights out right on the spot, I think Mrs. Doom knew I was at my limit, and made me go outside. About 10 minutes later she came out with the refund. Needless to say we didn't go back.

Holy smokes…. I didn’t “buy” anything-but in direct relation to my weed burner (not @Chubaka ) that showed up a few posts back; I just got access to a couple tractors (a Kubota, and a Ford) with buckets, and several other implements!!! NOW I’m stoked af!!!! The weather is gonna drop almost 30deg just after this wknd for the next week at a minimum, so I’m grabbing a couple 20lb propane bottles, then in a week or two-at least 500’ of 4” corrugated black pipe, and a few hundred 12” spikes, with 1.5” flat washers.. It’s coming together!!!

Thanks brotha! I am so pumped right now… Those tractors are gonna cut my work 95%… The overall surface quality just went through the roof, not to mention the jumps.. Gonna be a SIIIIIICK fall/winter with my RC’s this year… And then Spring-Ommfg…

We use "Americas Best" with good results.
The first time I had a exam it was for Medicare and the Dr. I went to didn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.

That’s awesome man! I got a 4200! I really don’t need two over here when I’m the only operator, so I’ll likely use that, and not risk tearing up his Ford..
