I'm not impressed with the mounting location on this so I am adding another location as well and mount it further back on the chassis.

Got my ultrasonic cleaner today. 3 liters is a bit smaller than I expected

Tested it out on this old kyosho pipe using LA’s Totally Awesome Cleaner at about a 6:1 dilution. It got everything cleaned off (you nitro guys know how hard that can be) but ate the polished finish off. 10 minutes with a microfiber cloth and some mother’s mag and aluminum polish got me pretty far but my hands got tired. Might try polishing it with my dremel later but I’m pretty happy for now! Definitely looks a little better than it did before. Gonna try to see how nice I can get it

Can’t wait to clean more stuff! Waiting on my air compressor before I get to the fine stuff like suspension components that way I can dry it before any rust may set in.

I have a small ultrasonic cleaner I use for bearings and what not. How much did that one set you back? I wouldnt mind having a bigger one eventually.

$60 for the 3L Here on AliExpress Shipped from near Chicago and Delivered to st Louis next day via FedEx. 120watts of ultrasonic cleaning and 100watts of heating

The cleaner itself is pretty big but the reservoir is considerably smaller. I can get the resevoir measurements when I get home if you'd like

Do you remove your bearing seals and regrease them after? I’m pondering trying it for my bearings
