In Northern Australia, some raptors, known as "firehawks," intentionally spread wildfires to flush out prey. These birds include the Black Kite, Whistling Kite, and Brown Falcon. They pick up burning twigs from existing fires and drop them in new locations, setting the ground ablaze and forcing prey to flee.
