This one by milwaukee is better suited for track lighting. Far too bulky and heavy for camping but my nephew hit it full bore with his Xmaxx and it didnt hurt it at all. Just tipped a little and sent the Xmaxx airborne. Both about the same price though.

Seems anything made to be lightweight and compact for camping has yuppie pricing attached.

So its good for small scale crawlers still.

I like that its small so its easy to set up a couple wherever, then carry them out like a couple oversized flashlights.

The 'work light' def fits durability but portability could use some 'light work'.

I got a pair of RC4WD 1:10 Vanquish Phoenix side-view mirrors to put on my Vanquish Origin Classic build. Its lack of mirrors was seeming more and more obvious to me so I'll try mounting the ones from the Phoenix. I think I'm going to paint them white before installing them so they'll look appropriate for my Origin Classic. I'm also waiting on a set of more correct "Scout II" side stripe decals to replace the kit decals with. The stripes that come with the kit look more like Toyota stripes than Scout stripes.

I don't drive well enough to pay somebody else to paint my bodies (the don't last long) so I do it myself/basic, but WOW - that is indeed incredible! Most of (other) guys in StL use Dillicious Designs.

Thank you! I’ve got some top dollar bodies… that being said I use and abuse them. They’re drift bodies, I don’t expect them to be pretty forever. I have 4 bodies altogether that are 100% full airbrushed paint. Two painted in Japan, one painted in China and one painted in Hungary. I’m a sucker for some beautiful artwork!

I didn't get any RC stuff in the mail, but I got a delivery of two tasty things: a big bottle of Tabasco brand Sriracha and a bottle of Tabasco Family Reserve Pepper Sauce. Their Sriracha is just plain wonderful. The Family Reserve is aged much longer than the regular Tobasco and is darker and richer in flavor; glorious! It is three times the price of the regular Tobasco so it gets used sparingly. Worth a try if you haven't had either of these two products...
