Just got fussed at for putting the ac on in the car and it being 56° outside.

We’ve broken 2 records for the “longest cold snap” this winter. It’s still -40 BTW. The water line in my tenants kitchen froze up and I managed to get it thawed out… only to find the water meter stopped working. Utility company came out and replaced it. However, the act of shutting the water off and turning it back on caused a pipe to start leaking. Someone is coming out Friday to fix that now. It’s literally never ending lately… I just want a week where I win and I’m not spending hundreds of dollars a day to keep my house in one piece.

End of this week is supposed to get up to 28°f. I can’t wait… it’s gonna feel like a freaking heatwave. I might even wear shorts.

I saw Alaska was getting hammered w/ snow. Record amounts. Stay safe man. It's been cold as cold cold crap here for GA, teens, upper 20s. My old bones say um, no, go back inside. Pssst...there's a fireplace in there. We've had some crazy high winds this winter too. Wild stuff

Fortunately the snow is just Juneau. I’m a fair bit north from there… *knocks on wood* We’ve had a pretty mild amounts of snowfall this year where I’m at.

I took the dog to a grooming appointment today. Despite the truck being parked in a 60° garage for 2 days, it took about 10 minutes before the cold took over and made the power steering stiff and slow to respond. Brake pedal takes it time to come back after pressing it as well.

hello everyone long time no chat, i think i have to come to the hard decision of selling my tekno and most my tools, i just havent really touched my cars in a long time, and dont really have time for them, i be having too much fun raving and spend my money there now lol idek how much to list it for ill prob look it all over this weekend and figure something out

Speaking from experience… your biggest regret will be selling everything. It’s normal to experience month long lapses in interest. But, they’ll always be there for you when you’re ready again. One addict to another… at the bare minimum? Keep the tools and one basher.

took me 30 minutes to go 9 and a half miles this morning. 3 times i got stuck behind some SOB doing 7 under the speed limit. one was a work van that took 15 minutes to get up to 7 under the speed limit. hit every stinking red light. was the first car to not make the light in the left turn lane cause the idiots in front of me decided to go out to breakfast before going on green and then turn at -5mph. so my days off to a great start.

dude, iv been stuck in damn near gridlock for no freaking reason and had pedestrians on the sidewalk move further faster than me.
all because idiots won't put there phones down, or know what lane they need to be in, or know what street and intersection they're at, or be paranoid of other cars or god forbid a large truck or big rig.

which reminds me, for a short time late last year i would go back and fourth with an old asian man cruising on a bike, going so slow I'm surprised he was keeping it upright. all because 1 intersection is normally backed up (on average) for close to a quarter mile. on a good day i could make the third green!
it was a race from Orangewood to Katella every afternoon.

went from bored as hell with nothing to do. then the boss finally opened what UPS dropped off 3 hours ago and now its one of those days that would be great if it weren't for the F'ing customers.
why does it always have to be all or nothing? its ether nothing, or cluster frick PITA all at once. pisses me the hell off.

I wish people would just let me build an rc car the way I want to build it and enjoy it the way I want to enjoy it and not nitpick at everything I want to do with it. It’s making me second guess myself and making me not want to pursue it anymore.
