on my way home i saw a possum that had been hit by a car on a very busy street, it was injured and jumping/struggling to get up/get out of harms way but it was all disoriented. kinda haunting me. got a strong suspicion that after i looked away from my rearview it had about 10 seconds to live. i know it's "just a possum" but it's still kinda sad.

Don't like to see any animal suffer. :(

i haven't seen a live one in years. but they're roadkill all over the place right now. the last few years they're ether hell bent on becoming extinct or the population has boomed. idk what's going on.
I've heard that there have been studies that have shown that the majority of people intentionally run animals over while they are crossing the road. Some people are weird.

more on the possum saga. about a quarter mile maybe a third of a mile down the street on the opposite side of the street there's a roadkill possum. but, it's noticeably bigger than the injured one i saw yesterday. got down to where the injured one was and looked to see if it was splattered and the road is clear. doubt it would have been picked up that quickly. soooo.....

and in other news the boss showed up like 45 minutes earlier than normal with his hair on fire about a job that is "super urgent". and I'm like yeah ok, its an encapsulated job, so no matter what time i pour it, it's not leaving until the end of tomorrow. so this morning panic and stress is for no reason.
and as i type this, there is now a head plate involved, as if they'll make the epoxy kick and harden any faster. nice way to add complexity and headache for no reason.

Yeah, starting with the people who have done those studies... :bored:

exactly how in the holy hell is this interesting?
Man there's 3 big races going on this weekend I'll have to switch back and forth of watching. Lol. Just like I did like a couple weeks ago.

3 races? i know of 2 and I'm at work where i have duel monitors.
Add a third monitor!

Las vegas vintage race
That onroad you just shared
And the Jcon INS finals at Hoosier

Masters of Dirt is happening next week at Hobby Action. Kinda sad not seeing it at Beach RC anymore. But I'll still watch. Hopefully the layout is a beach rc type layout.
