SMC is charging 12 bucks for shipping on 2 little rolls of wire and a pack of 4 5mm bullets. Smh

Still cheaper than going with tekin. Those rolls are like 12 bucks a pop.
Just got here today via UPS. Ordered it on Friday. Not that bad. Huge thumbs up to SMC. :thumbs-up: :)

On the flip side with Horizon, Horizon getting their products to their retailers, like AMain, they are soooo slow. My order is pending bc of the ProLine 1/8 buggy tires I ordered is still in stock in supply chain, arriving soon. Hopefully "soon" is sooner than later. Bc if it is later, I might not have 2 new bodies painted and ready to go before I get back to the track. And we all know, no one wants to see a body full of gorilla tape. Lol.

i swear the universe is just trying to piss me the F off.
this morning i hit every stinking ass red light. most waited just long enough for me to come to a complete stop and then went green. got stuck behind 2 MF'ers dragging there ass 10+ below the speed limit.

and the rest of this week was supposed to be easy going, getting random stuff done and caught up cause the boss will be gone. and then UPS showed up. it seems our pain in the ass customers all decided to ship in motors at once. and my boss has his hair on fire about it. so iv got 7 F'ing motors and gearboxes to disassemble, clean and reassemble. there's a day, at best, at the solvent tank, so tomorrows gone. I'm sure ill walk in the door and the paint booth will be full of BS busy work for stock we don't need, so ill have that to deal with.
meanwhile we've got at least 2 bobbins i need to spend at least a day a piece on running the injection molder. and we're insanely low on brass sleeves for one of our most common parts. probably not getting to one of those bobbins and probably won't make many sleeves. I'm sure that won't bite us in the ass when its most inconvenient. cause that never happens right?

and now there's a customer coming tomorrow that ill have to deal with. i get to explain why our version is different than the original and how to install our version. which frankly is about as self explanatory as flushing a toilet. and I'm guessing sense southern california and this being a manual labor job that the guy won't speak English for crap so that'll be fun.

so yeah...
traffic getting home kinda sucked. and then i had to listen to a damn low flying helicopter for like 20 minutes.
plane crashed in the park walking distance from me. used to run RC cars in the baseball fields across the street from where this happened. and iv seen that plane flying around as well. so yeah...
I think you need to get out of California...

Wasn't that a @Doom! movie? Escape from California... 🤔🤣

I fully support the people's right to own and bear arms. That being said, people who leave unattended loaded firearms in their vehicle deserve to have those rights taken away. Stupid, irresponsible people should not be allowed to protect themselves. Let natural selection run its course.

And lock boxes are so cheap and easy to use...
I have one in every car.
Something bad happen?

Not bad i guess. Could have been much worse. Cocked and UNLOCKED 1911, one in the tube, aimed directly at my head when I open the glove box to get a wheel lock tool. Really gets your blood going in the morning.
I mean, at least they didn't leave it in the open, like not the seat or something. But I don't think there is a reason for having it loaded and cocked.

I don't carry in the car because while I live in gun friendly NH, I work and live bordering gun unfriendly Massachusetts. Don't want to chance on becoming a felon should I accidentally forget and cross state line with my firearm.
I always take my garage door opener out of the car when it gets service, so I highly doubt if I would ever forget to remove a firearm.
