Looking at older models, '03-'09. I can't afford a newer one. Those are only 6,500lbs.

Cool. The older stuff, any make, is easier to work on at home, & cheaper. The new stuff, 15' up, any make, it's all so computerized now, can be a pain. My 18' Charger I bought new, started giving trouble w/ the computer & AC.

Exactly. I'm just looking for something I can have fun with and we can maybe use to camp BLM land. some light off-roading where I can drive against sagebrush and not worry about brand new paint.

I’m sick and tired of people and so called “friends” of their double standards and acting all two faced. I’m tired of being ignored, and I’m tired of the “I’m just busy” excuse because I know for a fact that is not the case. Sometimes I don’t know why I even bother try getting along with people. I’ll admit I’m not the easiest person to get along with but at least I’m trying to make an effort.

I’m tired of being ignored, and I’m tired of the “I’m just busy” excuse because I know for a fact that is not the case. Sometimes I don’t know why I even bother try getting along with people. I’ll admit I’m not the easiest person to get along with but at least I’m trying to make an effort.

I have very few people I call friends in the real world. When you realize your the one making all of the effort, it's time to cut 'em loose. I had a "friend" I used to spend a lot of time with and do a lot of stuff for. One time I couldn't do something for him, he went into pout mode and disappeared. I waited for him to get ahold of me and it never happened. Oh well. Don't waste your time or energy on users or toxic people.

I have more people I consider True friends in this forum.

until something happens with my job or i win the lottery I'm not going anywhere anytime soon unfortunately. I'm like CA'ed to CA

and i seriously doubt my opinion on short course will change. in fact it might get worse. i drove my SC10 in the tight confines of my backyard Saturday and was like huh, this doesn't totally suck. but i was remembering the last time i drove it in a big open space, where i could stretch its legs and it didn't want to stay on course and parachuted so bad i didn't want to jump it. and sense one of my goals in leaving CA would be to have space, idk, not looking good.

Two of my best friends are internet folks I've never met in person, but have video chatted. We've a habit of sending gifts to each other without notice, just to enjoy their surprise.

so on top of all the hair on fire going on around here. plus a run on encapsulated coils that everybody wants yesterday. here, here's a small total PITA project that has to be done just so or it's not going to work. oh and the idiot customer didn't bother to send the F'ing mechanism with the coil so I'm basing measurements off the deformed original. and it absolutely has to have the F'ing recess in the center which is just going to complicate the living hell out of the whole stupid i don't want to do it job. is there somewhere i can just go yell the F word while beating something with a bat?

oh god now the boss is talking about getting a 3D printer. which I'm going to have to learn to use and ill be the only one here who can operate (just like the CNC). and sense he's got the patience of a coked up squirrel and likes to nit pick BS details that don't matter he's going to want perfection right out of the gate on day one. can i win the lotto and retire already?

Yes. I buy all my hardened hingepin stock from that outfit, and have for a while now. They’ve always been solid, but definitely takes a minute for stuff to process occasionally. Take the 4th into consideration as well. You can always shoot them an email, or a quick call on the horn. They ARE legit though.

Nearly every machine shop (along with many other industries) in the US orders from them. And a lot of those guys are ordering next day. So your little order is likely going to get done when they can work it in

Yea. We used to have an '05 GX. My RC tinkering has just morphed into wanting to tinker a 1:1. It's a slippery slope!
