I'm kind of worried about tonight too, it was pretty windy last night and so far today. Last year some of our bonehead neighbors we landing fireworks pretty close to peoples rooftops.

I've seen boats catch fire from that!

4th of July 2023 the lovely neighbors who no longer live here were launching mortars in a very tightly packed residential neighborhood. Which, keep in mind was a Tuesday night. You’d be surprised at the amount of people who still have to work holidays who came to work wanting to punch the first thing that talked to them.

I don’t even get fireworks here in the summer… the sun doesn’t set for like 3 months. We are in 24 hours of daylight right now. You can’t even see the darn things

There’s a ban on them right now borough wide. They’re just flat out not allowed in city limits without a permit normally. But, that never stops the knuckleheads who think their enjoyment trumps the wellbeing of everyone else.

Why anyone would risk a felony for some fireworks is crazy work lol I could think of many felonies that would be a lot more fun to get.

never underestimate human stupidity. fireworks of any kind are illegal in my city. anything that shoots up in the air or explodes is illegal in the entire state, yet every year the sky is illuminated by bottle rockets and there's so many explosions going off it could pass for a war zone. a few years ago the idiots on the street behind me lit a big ass pine tree on fire. fire department came out and put it out. the next freaking year they were back at it shooting bottle rockets again.

in typical fashion, i run the "generic stadium truck" (rustler) for the first time (other than setting trim) and no joke, you can't make this stuff up, it broke! like wtf!?!?!? even when a traxxas isn't a traxxas it still breaks.

yes. and i think it's the last one i have that fits. the aluminum one i have is to long and i don't want to cut it down.

edit: actually i think i used the aluminum one on another car... so i don't think i have anymore.

I use the TLR horns. 25T, aluminum. You might want to redo the top threads though bc it's meant for losi hardware not for others, idk my uncle told me to these on my trucks and so far so good. No complaints.

The old nylon donut servo savers might look silly, but I've never had one snap like that. Maybe you could try one of them or cut up a Kimbrough?

trucks got Hot Racing aluminum steering cranks with servo saver so i don't need a second one on the horn. going to give the aluminum Losi horn DavidB posted a shot.

I used tgat before spraying white to make pearl white. Before tge white it was kinda cloudy so experiment with it. Good Luck.

I think it’s crazy people talk about this hobby like it’s for 5 year olds because it a “literal toy” but will turn around and spend thousands on a gaming rig to play games, which are also made for children and act like they have some sort of moral high ground. Just let other people have fun? If you can’t afford it or think it’s a waste of money, then it’s not for you. Not EVERY hobby has to be all inclusive.

Just wild to me I have 2 vehicles, 3 dirtbikes and I own my home. I have the expendable income for these things and plenty of other toys. I don’t need or want a clapped out car just because, “I could literally buy a used car for as much as those cost.” Okay? I couldn’t LITERALLY care less. Go buy your broke down car for $500 brokey and leave me alone. It’s like people are incapable of processing the fact other people have different interests and lives than theirs.

Its just one of my hobbies I can’t really share outside of this forum otherwise I get told to “get a life” or to “grow up.” Thats the only thing that bothers me… feels like I have to hide it from some people otherwise I won’t get the same level of respect I would get otherwise.
