So my power went out Friday around 5:00. Restoration estimate 4:30 Saturday. That came and went now estimate is 9:00 Sunday. Guess what? Generator ran out of gas at 8:00! I go get gas, check to find the latest update... 12:00 pm Monday! I'll have to fill my gas cans again tonight! :mad:
I'm getting a Generac standby before snow flies again...

My daily rant. Fireworks used to have a strong manly scent of gun powder. I've noticed a few years ago it disappeared.

Drove hour and a half home in this and not even a slight gun powder scent.

you should have been at my house then. fireworks of any kind are illegal in my city. but the places goes off like a warzone. from 7:30 to to well after midnight that gun powder smell you seek was strong. somebody maybe 1/3 of a mile away was shooting stuff off in the air (fireworks that shoot up in the air or explode are illegal in the entire state) that looked professional.
