Huh. I see. Ironically I found the Mitu ones on Amazon for a decent price directly from Mitutoyo. Maybe I should get those instead.
There's no maybe about it. Got a link?

Sweet! I guess I'll buy these then. Thanks!
No problem. I know you're a tool nerd. I was the same with measuring tools. My top drawer of my Snap-On roll around had over $10k in just that drawer, 95% of that was Starrett. If I totaled all the other precision measuring equipment, I know I had well over $20k, just in measuring equipment. I only bought the best stuff. The only tool Starret made back then that really sucked was their calipers. Everything else was nice.

That being said, I also had the Mitutoyo carbide faced 1"-3" micrometer set. Those things felt like the Ferrari of micrometers. Nothing Mitutoyo makes is anything less.

I found them on MSC Industrial Supply and got them there instead. It ended up being a little cheaper and I know they're legit and the real deal.

That's where all my new tools came from. That is a great price!

This is what I have, all metal and work great. Budget friendly option, coming in at around $35.00. There are a lot of cheap calipers out there that are junk, but this one is nice.

I think some people really don't know what it means. We used to have a big problem with solicitors at our old location. I politely told one guy we weren't interested, and he got offended and wanted to fight me. 🤣

Some just don't care. 🤷‍♂️

The boss wouldn't let me go out and fight him. 🤣

Prob just as well. Sometimes those sales guys are right on the edge. 😲🤯
One more 'I said GOOD DAY SIR' could push 'shower refinisher sales guy' into 'angry briefcase ninja sales guy'!!!
I've seen it happen before and let me just tell you, the head stickers would have been WAY easier!!! 🤣

My rant is that it is hard picking which RCs to bring with me to vaca... Lol.
Just need to talk your dad into renting a U-haul for vacation. 🤷‍♂️

Seems a little cheap... I mean, really, even just going to the movie would be better. 🤪
