Stuck in a like 30 minute backup due to a crash. Therefore getting to the track late.

Now rolling on the bridge at like 2 mph

Basically 2 hours to a track that's only an hour away.
Not going to do carpet till the winter. Traffic is just too much at any time anywhere.

Ever see the movie Mousehunt? For two solid months I've been trying to catch the little sob.
It must be the movie mouse's nephew.
He takes the bait out of the spring trap, he jumps over the sticky trap and he leaves his tiny droppings on the traps.
Smart little SOB.
5 gallon bucket filled with water. Too much they can hop out. Too little is also ineffective. Just right and it'll be floating waiting for disposal.

If you do use traps, tie them to something so you dont have a dead rodent hiding in a ducked up place.

ever sense 2020 nobody's open on weekends anymore. so i ordered something (car parts) and want to pick it up but i work from 8am to 4pm Monday - Friday, and and where i ordered form is open from 8am to 4pm Monday - Friday. (as told by the person i talked to on the phone) and shipping is close to $200 and it's literally 55 miles door to door. so instead of going and picking up my order on a Saturday morning when traffic is light, i have to take 3 hours off work and sit in work traffic to go pick it up.
another place i need to hit (a mile away from the first place) has the same issue. 15 years ago i went there on a Saturday morning. the last 5 years they haven't been open on weekends.
a third place i need to go spend money at also no longer open on weekends. been going there on Saturdays sense 2000. the last 5 they haven't been open on weekends.

like wtf, you can't run a skeleton crew form 9am to 1pm on Saturday for the locals with jobs? are we that dependent on mail order now?

I just put a dab of peanut butter in the center of the glue trap. Haven’t missed one ever like that. You may wanna look into the water trap. All ya need is a 5gal bucket. It looks ghey af, but it WORKS. 😉

I think I want to sell all my stuff and call it quits. I’m more stressed than having fun, and I’m tired of things breaking the first time I try to use it. The zippers breaking on my travel bag is the final straw for me.
we've all been there.
like that time i was broke as a joke, got a brand new brushed motor for Christmas and on the first run overheated it bad and burned it up. 🤬
or that time i was broke as a joke and parts for my XXXT were getting hard to find and got a set of needed front arms for Christmas and on the first run slammed into a pole and broke one.
or the time i was broke as a joke and needed a rear T plate for my XXXT and got one for Christmas and a week later snapped the new one and had put the cracking original back on.
you know what, i kinda wanna quit to.

so I'm trying to gravity drain the gas tank on my bug. i pulled the fuel line off the fuel pump and have it draining into a 5 gallon gas can. it's been draining for almost 2 hours and there's maybe a gallon of gas in the can. i was expecting to be done with this job an hour ago.

Did you open the fill up cap?

Put an air hose in the fill tube and wrap it with a rag. Giver hell

If it has a fuel pump, remove the fuel line to the engine and put a line to a gas can. Turn the key a little so the fuel pump gets power. Hopefully it helps but this is probably too new for that.
