Got some updates. Apparently they also tried to get into the basement. The basement door was was unlocked but chained down. And they stole some kind of battery charger. Assuming it's was someone that was in the car community or someone watching the house and knowing his schedule. It sucks

Have you asked neighbors aboit any cameras that saw anything?

My bet is that it's someone who lives nearby and can see what's inside.

so the cops have a house a couple streets over from me surrounded and the ghetto bird is circling. been listening to it for 40 minutes now. someone needs to invent a quieter helicopter.

edit: according to a post on nextdoor someone herd on there police scanner that they're calling for the SWAT team. helicopter still circling.

One of my last smokes disappeared from the shop desk overnight. Kept running into two bicyclist without a brain, blowing stop signs and overtaking stopped cars making oncoming traffic stop. Then I have to wait to turn while 8 or do cops flood the intersection over what appeared to be a homeless dude sitting or laying down. Second he walked away the poured in.

according to the story i got off nextdoor. this was apparently a guy with known mental illness issues who lives with his elderly mother. she wasn't feeling well they tried to get paramedics in there and he barricaded himself and his mother in the house and the whole thing escalated quickly.
but they had like every cop in the city there. the street they were on is U shaped and both ends are on a main street and they had the main street blocked off. SWAT was out there. numerous armored vehicles. there was a narcotics team out there idk what was up with that.
haven't had that much excitement sense SWAT raided the meth lab on the street behind me like 10 years ago.
