For anyone following along... I FINALLY have the transmission job in my Focus done.
It only has about 10 miles so I'm still a liitle nervous to say its ALL good but good so far!
I was right with my initial guess. Something broke loose inside the bellhousing and battered the torque converter and bellhousing.
The case of the transmission had 2 puncture holes in it. 1 presumably an exit hole. I can't find whatever made the holes.
The used unit got new seals and seems to have a tiny bit of leak happening. I am hoping the new seals will seat and create a better seal over time.
1 cooler line was relaced by previous owner. They used heater hose. 😖
This is very NOT THE RIGHT F'NG HOSE for this application and so needed replaced.
The seals, filter and gasket done with 4 or 5 qts of fluid. That was all there was to the trans part of the job.
Plus it got a new starter that came bare metal so I painted it before it went in.
I got a check eng light becaus the MAP sensor wasn't plugged in all the way(connector is broken).
No more lights and shifts better than before the job started!
I'm thankful that I did the work myself. This would heve been pricey at a shop
but it took WAY too long to get this damned job done! It just wouldn't finish!

I mean, isnt all bleach "germicidal"?
Yes, but it's a little extra with gasoline!

Like: why buy a guitar amp that maxes out at 10, when you could get one that maxes out at 11?

i just love it when you spent 3 hours taking an RC apart trying to diagnose an issue. not find jack squat. put it back together and nothings changed.
where the hell is that driveline friction coming from!? why am i driving with drag brake!? wtf! the only thing i ruled out is that it's not the motor.

in my case its Dromida 1/18 scale stuff. iv got a total of 3 of them and 2 have this issue, the DB4.18 is really bad. the DT4.18 is at least driveable ...kind of... , and the brushed MT is nice and free. when i put them away they were fine, they sat for probably 2 years. i tried to run them a few months ago and it was like wow, this isn't good. finally got around to looking at them today and idk, I'm confused. there doesn't seem to be any tension on anything, no friction anywhere. independently everything is nice and smooth, but when assembled it'll almost lock the wheels up when you let off the throttle.

I hate my bank sometimes for the fact that I don’t have a physical location, sold some sim racing stuff and to deposit I have to get money orders and then mobile deposit, well this time I got a money order that I can’t mobile deposit so I have to either mail to my bank which I need til october 1st to even get the mail slips or I could just open a new bank account somewhere and deposit into their and then transfer to get the funds sooner ugh

a homeless guy wearing a clear Halloween skull mask (think OG hockey mask but a skull) with 2 bag of cans just rode way to damn fast down the alley behind work on an ebike. idk why that annoys me but it does.
also, to many houses have decorations for Halloween up already. it's not even October.
also, i don't like Halloween. never have. not even as a kid.
also, can't find the key for the dumpster enclosure. idk what my boss did with it, but apparently it's been missing sense sometime Thursday.
also have a slight stiff neck that's messing with my sinuses, throat, and right shoulder. the stiffness is no doubt going to get worse throughout the day. i get stiff necks way to often.
frickin Mondays man...

Nope you take that back! Halloween is good. 😜 I do agree they should wait for October to decorate though. :thumbs-up:
