If you want cancer you should see reddit, I got kicked out of the SCX24 group for saying there are other options that offer more bang for your buck.
I see your boat.

I get lots of negative stares of me not recommending radiolink and bashing on my neighborhood baseball diamond that no one uses. Oh yea don't forget that lots of people recommend TT02s on there and I'm the only one that keeps telling them it's not that good of a car 😅

Anyone else had the same experience?
Yes. Same with r/Traxxas

I mainly post in a smaller community r/traxxasV2 which is a lot nicer and kind of people in there

I'm thinking of un-joining.

got bit by a mosquito in the warehouse at work yesterday. then i killed it.
today iv got an Asian Tiger Mosquito after me in the warehouse and those bastards are vicious, highly aggressive, and there bites suck, painful welts that itch so bad the word itch doesn't do it justice, and the damn thing bit me twice so far. it's not even 9am! going to be a lot harder to find and kill this one, Tiger Mosquitos have like stealth or something, i have literally watched them disappear in mid air and they're silent.

Sounds like you need a Bug A Salt.

we used to have one, idk what happened to it. idk if it would work with mosquitos, hell it didn't even faze the flys we have around here. id shoot'm and all it seem to do was piss them off.
Mine will kill house flies if distance is less than a foot away. At the same distance, it will dismember mosquitoes.

Wow. The r/rccars subreddit is toxic. Well my experience with it wasn't pleasant.

Anyone else had the same experience?
Pretty much the same experience on any social media platform. Forums are the way to go.

Not a rant. Didn't know where to post. But.. I was outside walking the dog, my neighbor across the street has equipment & is always working outside on them. He starts sneezing & it's the craziest sounds I've ever heard. Can't describe it. Like no sneezing I've ever heard. 🤣🤣🤣 Not a aa-chhoo sneeze.

I hate shipping times on my orders i’m impatient 🤣

also had more tell me it’s not possible or to buy 2 b7’s for carpet and clay racing imma be proving them wrong to get extra parts for easy change between a it’s about $200 lol

You gonna be in luck if your package comes via USPS!!! 😁 🤣

Not sure about 2wd, but me racing 4wd I switch from carpet to clay easily. Diff setups are mainly the same. Shock oils are mostly the same. Front shock oil might be thicker on carpet. Front springs are different (stiffer on carpet, but I run the thicker springs on clay and works better for me), sway bars and ride height. And the obvious tires. Some carpet tracks do require for your car to have a chassis protector and shock tower/cap protectors so make sure you add on that when racing carpet, but they can be kept on when racing clay. Also the clay makes the car dirty so if you do planning on going to a carpet track within that next few weeks, make sure you clean your car really good. My local track is sealed/glued so my car isn't all that dirty, but if its hard packed dirt and just dusty/watered down or muddy after a while, yea its a bit worse on how dirty the car gets.

Now that reminds me, I should take my car over to my uncles to use the air compressor to dust off my car. Dirt likes to collect near the gear boxes, arm braces and chassis braces. Rarely do I touch those areas on my buddy lol.

Once you have a base setup for both tracks you like, and have the right tires and spring/oil packages you like, it will probably be more easier to switch setups. For my experience, with the only race grade kit I had, stock/kit setups are a good starting point and generally can get you around the track well. But they can be modified a bit to make it faster/more easier to drive. Id start with the B7D kit setup for clay and the regular B7 kit setup for carpet. 2 main differences is that I believe the dirt version has a ball diff and the carpet version has a oil gear diff. Using a gear diff is possible on clay with 2wd. Id probably get 2 diffs. One you can swap in for running carpet. Another with a different oil package for running clay. Thats just my preference.

Should have posted this in your thread about getting a buggy but I guess it will be here then lol

Yea I'm on there to. I'm in 3 RC servers on there. Including the RCT discord server. But rarely i am on there. Usually on there just for the friend group chat.

yeah I already priced out the differences, different diffs, front axle and shock setups so I have everting to accommodate for those changes in a wishlist along with wheels i’m definitely gonna try it lol, if not i’ll just collect parts to build a second car from scratch lol. I do have a chassis protector that came with my hauler funny enough
