so i stop at the gas station on my way home from work today. pull into the station and there's a cyber truck parked at one of the pumps. i didn't know if i should be confused or pissed. i go inside to pay and the guy who drives it is in line chatting it up with anybody and everybody he can get more than 3 words out of. he was there to buy lottery tickets.

So buy a gallon and give it a squirt for him.🤣😅

I saw a tesler years ago hiding by a pump to avoid a rain storm.

What an A_hole!

So I have two builds waiting on one package that was part of an order I placed on the 2nd. It's been in transit on a 70 mile trip from Indy to me for going on 7 days. USPS - 🤬🤬🤬🤬

But at least Amain customer service is quick to take action.

If you ever see something kike that again, drop a handful of Cheerios by the drivers side door, run into the gas station in a total panic yelling that the owner of the Tesla needs to come outside FAST! Their truck is leaking EVERYWHERE!!!
Hopefully they will indeed run outside where you can point out the tiny @holes that have CLEARLY leaked from the gigantic @hole who parks that plastic dumpster like that, just to be one.
My Amain order got here in three days. :p 🤣
Same.

If any get a new laptop do not get HP, Dell, Toshiba. In my experiences they are trash. Lenovo rules from my experiences. Never had any issues with them, fast and reliable. I heard acer is pretty good and getting better but never had any of their laptops.

Was playing Roblox on the laptop, dell Inspiron 15in from 2017 or 2018, can't remember, it was dad's laptop and he gave it to me. I had it upgraded to a 450gb SSD hard drive, 6GB of ram (from 4 stock) and it still had the factory i3 Intel. Was running perfectly before. Opened Roblox and a few minutes go by, randomly turned off and crashed. Tried to turn it back on, nothing. Tried to listen to see if anything clicked on and notta. I mean, sure it is a 7yr old laptop but it has been upgraded and it's been running perfectly fine before hand, and even while playing Roblox for those first 5 minutes before it just crashed and decided to die. Went through atleast 4 batteries on that thing. And multiple AC adapters and charge adapters. It was on its 2nd charge jack. Just recently got a new charger and battery like a month ago. Smh.

Tagging @Greywolf74 since I know he's a PC guy.

Edit: while to troubleshoot, once I plugged in the charger, the charge light on the laptop wouldn't turn on and the charger would turn off too (since I have a light on that too) Tried it with the battery out and in, notta.

Man, there goes my laptop, so with that, expect slower times with me getting posts/replies and videos out. Ugh.

Asus baby. I never had one, but I love their motherboards.

And you just bought the wrong models. The Dell Precision laptops were bad mammer jammers. I had one that I did some fairly heavy CAD and CNC 4 axis programming on. It was the IndyCar shock I've shown here on the forum as a matter of fact. Our desktop wouldn't cut it. But my laptop spit out beatiful verification previews (3d model getting cut away to verify program is good). It was pretty awesome at playing the current Call of Duty with maxed settings too 😉

I'll look into them too. Just shooting out the most popular brand names I know of.

Now working on a older HP, I think some of the insides were from 2012. My Grandma got it back in 2020 for online learning for my cousin. It has 6gb ram, an AMD a10 4600 processor. HHD hard drive most likely, but still doesn't handle Roblox.

Dad says he ain't putting anymore money into older laptops. He just got a new Lenovo IdeaPad flex 5? I believe so? I love it. He also has a 2022 idea pad and still goes strong. Best laptops I ever used.

I mean I really don't care. I saw it coming one day. Dad already has 2 laptops and he is fine for Deejaying so. 🤷

Also on the dell that just died, the track/mouse pad was going out anyways.

My school Chromebook I had since 2019 and I been needing to go to the tech desk for a swap but I'll wait it out. The screen in the bottom left corner popped out and stays out but not to large, the touch screen still works and the mousepad is going out so I use my wireless mouse. Plus it can't handle a bunch of chrome tabs for work. It's a Chromebook, they are a bit slow anyways and can't really do much unlike Windows OS. To be fair Lenovo makes these Chromebooks.

I've had Dell, Gateway, HP, & Asus. All crashed & locked up. The Lenovo has been awesome.
Yeah, they all sell junk. But a lot of them have gems too that have killer performance. I have been out of the pc game so long I don't even know who makes the best anything anymore 😅

I mean I already got my buddy that does PC repair and has a small hobby shop down in Pasadena. But since I don't really need a new laptop or for this one to be fixed I'm alright. Just a bit bummed that it just died out of no where. I had over 400 dollars into this bit outdated Dell so in the end, is it really worth it? Not really.

I don't care for Apple, mostly towards the business practice, but my experience is that their laptop is nearly "bomb proof". Windows stuff always starts having issues after about a year, and then just goes down hill from there. Our Mac Books lasts for years and years without issues. As always, you will pay a premium for Apple products.
That being said, I've always had great luck with Android phones and have never even thought about those over priced iPhone, which Apple purposely slows down, every time you update their software.
