I was driving to work one day on I-70 near the Indianapolis airport. A semi was in front of me pouring out smoke. He was driving with the entire front half of the trailer engulfed in flames. He pulled over as I was passing him to let him know. Probably somebody's LiPo caught fire. Not sure what else there could be inside a trailer that would spontaneously combust. When I came back by a little later the cab of the truck looked like it melted.

I work 12 hour late shifts, usually 1pm to 1:30am, but we work 3 days one week, 4 days the next (for me that's Sun-Mon-Tue and every other Wed), so only half a year... but we get paid overtime for everything over 8 hours each day, so I work 84 hours every two weeks, and get paid for 98... also night shift gets a 15% premium.

Makes sense. I only eat at that time when home. My wife works full time too and both my kids work after school hours, so we eat when we can.
Once the kids started working and/or did sports, family dinner time became an occasional thing. Even during the weekends, the kids still had their social life. The most likely family meal together was Sunday brunch.
Next fall, all 3 kids will be in college, so we would have to wait for the holidays to dine together.

My oldest moves to university next year. That will change things a bit.

My Spektrum DX6C transmitter & SR315 combo is out for delivery via FedEx. This time of year, with the holidays & extra packages, he runs around 9:30pm. Ugh.
Whoo hoo it's here now! 3 mins ago! Ka-chow!!!

I have 5 more packages heading for the Indy USPS distribution center. 3 other packages have been there for 3 days now. The last delivered item sat there 4 days before moving. So far, I am seeing damn near an extra week on my delivers. Stop buying so much crap people. The USPS folks are struggling 😜

Well, I just got my shipping notification for some bearings I ordered. I knew the seller was in Tok, Alaska. Let's see how long it takes. I've ordered bearings from them before. Winter Evening is the seller.
Being in Alaska has no bearing. They ship fast to fl.

I always get crazy fast shipping from them. I was going to order more bearings from them, but I had an Amain order so I just threw some Fast Eddy bearings in my cart.

I have a total of 8 packages that haven't shown any change in 3 days. They are even sitting an extra day at my local PO. If you guys are ordering Christmas stuff this year, better get on it.

Christmas time is the most stressful time of year. Tired of people clogging up the aisles while they stand around on their phones.
We just call that, the weekend, around my way. 😄

having one of those days where 75% of what i pick up ends up on the floor. and 80% of what i try to do fights me and has to be done the hard way. and I'm swamped with work :rage:
That sucks. I get like that. Especially when I get cold. I hate winter.
