Club racing, although in a different format
Since it was only like 12 of us racing we decided on 1 qualifier and triple B/A mains. So I ran 6 races (30 ish minutes of track time) back to back without any break
There has been some carnage though, lol
With the 2wd in qualifying I had a wobbly front wheel. The screw for the axle was coming loose so I tightened that back up. B1 the motor mount shifted back and I lost all drive. Although good that it didn't strip the spur gear. B2 I crashed hard and broke the steering knuckle/block and also my wing has seen more. Lol.
4wd was perfect all day, like normal.
Within the B mains overall I got 5/5 for 2wd and 2/4 for 4wd.

I also had some fun in-between races and after with some of my buddies Mini Z's

Also scored some free tires and a battery in the free box. 2 pairs of rear TZO slicks,.wanting to try them out next time and a full set of carpet fuzz bites. And got a 6400 cnhl pack although it was quite puffy. Did a few test cycles on it last night when I got home and I think it needs to be retired. It wouldn't show IRs which is weird and the voltage drop after load gotten taken off the battery was too much for me personally.

Thats the same pack that I just bought.
Yours looks like its waving at me! 😁🤣

I'm inside taking a lunch break after running 40 laps around my backyard "race track" on the lawn with my Rival MT10, using the Voice Lap timer. This cheap timer had 100% function rate, even on passes that I thought wouldn't register because of my angle, nearness to the unit, etc. It just works.

I marked out a course on the lawn with some slices of pool noodle and 20P nails as ground spikes. They mark the course without damaging or even rolling the MT10 if I hit them.

I tied a loop of surveyors' tape to each (and added some blue strips, as the orange ribbon doesn't show up that strongly to me due to my red-green colorblindness). I don't know how well this will all work when the grass comes to life and starts to grow... it's still dead and flat from the winter and the R/C vehicles run over it pretty easily for now.

Keep running in the same spot and grass shouldn't be a problem, kind of like wildlife trails.

That's what I'm thinking. If I can run it down to the bare ground, I might even be able to run the 1/10 and 1/8 rally cars on it. I live at the end of a dead-end street with most of my 6-acre property in front of the house. Behind the back yard is woods, so I'm not worried about having a nice lawn there. I'd rather have a place to run the R/C vehicles.

Glad to see the transponder works. ;) :thumbs-up:

Pulled this old beater out from my junk pile. It's dirty but the gearbox is super smooth and decently sealed. I built this from leftover parts for just beating/bashing. It's a Tamiya M-04L. My other M-04 got a bunch of aluminum parts installed e.g., shocks, arms, hubs, towers etc so I built this one with the unused stock plastic parts.

Today's a decompress day and I'm playin'! Ran all 3 of these and my scrambled brain is telling me stories! 🤣
Meet 3 generations of off roaders...
Gramps has had his old Bronco forever, still all shiny and nice but more capable than it looks. Plus it's street legal!
Son was looking at the old parts Bronco out back and thought hmm.. Gramps let him build this crawler out of it. Let's call it Deadbolt! Fun stuff!
Now the grandson comes of age having grown up off roading and has learned some fab skills thinks it's time for his own toy. Boy is this thing wild! Who ever stuck portals under a Ranger? Um, hold my beer! Lighter and more agile, let's call it Coyote!
Enough! Let's hit the rocks!

Unboxed and ran this today. It's 1/12th scale and has very good off-road articulation despite the small tires. Haven't even installed the side mirrors yet. :D

First run of the season for the Juice up pro on my rock piles here today. Recently added some new rocks, needed to tryout the new lines. Sorry, will get pics next run.

Just got back from a nighttime run. Stock brushed motor on 3S. It was gnarly. :hehe:
Disregard the front tires, as I usually mount them with the correct tread direction but was swapping them around many different cars so didn't notice it this time. 🤡
