So, What R/C Did You Run Today?

First outdoor race of this year. Had 144 entries, it was a fun day.

In etruggy I led the first half of the C main. Then got on the brakes to hard and flipped over , fell back to 4th. And that's where I ended up finishing. In 40+ ebuggy i finished 2nd in the B main. Got the the bump to the A main but left before the A main. This race was about a 1 1/2 drive and I needed to get home so I could repack for today. I have a 2 1/2 drive to Adrenaline for a 1/10 scale race today.
 
For today I decided to unbox two new on-road cars. Left is the HPI RS4 Sport 3 Ford Mach-E 1400. Right is the Team Associated Apex2 Sport Nissan Z. The Ford has really nice body accessories with separate pieces for the front canards, rear diffuser and wing. The Nissan also has some nice accessories that came with it, but haven't been installed like the rear spoiler and front light buckets. Both cars have their stock wheels/tires swapped out for cheap running ones. I usually keep the stock wheels for display purposes and run disposable ones that are replaced when worn. Both of these AWD chassis are designed to accept 3S lipo out of the box with metal geared differentials. Both are getting 3S brushless upgrades and the Nissan will be getting a full set of ball bearings as it only come with Oilite bushings.

Got a tank in before the rain, can’t remember last time it ran. But we just pulled it out, clean air filter in, new glow plug and fired right up
It kinda sounds a bit choked off on the top end. I'm not a nitro guy, but with years of working on every other kind of engine, it is sounding like it isn't done ramping up. Or maybe there is some binding somewhere? Or maybe the grass is holding it back? Or maybe I'm just cornfused 🤪

And I can see Levi has learned to land off throttle in the jump vid! That ramp does a lot better than ramp V1 did 😁
 
Started running the Coyote but thought wait, my minis are both back together after waiting a month for a motor swap part. Gotta run both. Deadbolt with a new Furitek Unity and the AX-24 with the stinger kit from the Deadbolt.
Within about 10 minutes both lost steering servos and the AX had a shock come apart.
Finished the Coyote pack with the big Deadbolt and just grabbed a beer!
