Traxxas, the golden retrievers of RC! 🤣

Dad and I haven't played tennis in a long time so I got me a new bigger racket and we might find somewhere to play.
I'm more a chocolate lab kinda guy 😄

Tennis was the one "hobby" I excelled at, and played on my college team. I always tell myself I would get back into it playing in a rec league, but life, and other interests, gets in the way. Last time I played tennis, a few years ago, I caused a bad calf injury to my right calf. Sucks getting old!

I ran my Deadbolt last night down in the shop for a little while.
Me too. Blew off the dust, assembled and fitted the new boots and tested it. I'm impressed.

My friend is looking to get a Deadbolt SCX10 or comparable crawler. Redcat 1/10 Fusion, Redcat 1/8 Marksman, or Team Associated Enduro Ecto 1/10. He keeps asking me what's best. He's into crawlers & I'm into bashing. I'm not sure what to tell him. He has two Slash trucks, Kyosho Fazer & a Traxxas 1/18 crawler.

If just one, I would highly recommend the TRX4. Another plus on the TRX4 is that those stock tires are excellent crawling tired!

At 1st that's what he was aiming for. But now he's bent on getting a Jeep body. Or half cab. He's younger & only a year into RC.

I have the Axial Jeep and it's a solid crawler!
He should get what makes him happy, as crawlers aren't as critical in the area of high wear and tear.

Asking what is best is kind of a difficult question, everybody has their favorites.
When choosing any RC rig there is three things I look for. Available parts, available parts, and available parts.
Any RC crawler can be a incredible rig, but without available parts, it isn't possible to build it the way we want them.
I love the SCX24 and SCX10 platform because there is a unlimited amount of parts available.
The TRX4 platform no doubt is awesome but I honestly have never own or drove one.

Thst old Case mower is sweeet! My dad used to rebuild old tractors and mowers. He had an old Bolens that was a little tank. Mostly cast iron.

We got another one too, but I need to rebuild the generator on it, it won’t charge. They came from the farm on my dads side, spent a lot of time mowing with them as a kid. Also got an old white garden tractor I need to bring back from my parents house next time I’m up there. Can’t beat them old irons! I don’t mow with them though any more, they just haulers and use em around the gardens.
