I do have a fine selection of #2-56 and M2 machine screws, but M1 would probably be more in scale for 1/10th... 🤔

Just thinking out loud, in case you don't find a glue that you are happy with.

Thats a great idea, I think some polished button heads would tie the look together real nice

The problem is now you've triggered the "all things must be in-scale things" part of my brain. A scale-accurate hard-body SC10 would be a thing to behold.

It's glue time.

You know how I said I wanted to minimize squeeze-out?

Second attempt was much cleaner. Just a couple drops of glue.

But, sadness. The tire glue holds way better than the RTV, but I'm still able to peel it apart if I start at a seam. The alignment clips held well enough that they actually snapped off; I'll take that as a win.

Given that the alignment clips held so well, I think I'll have a go at redesigning the brackets to have another clip at the top where I was seeing the gaps before gluing.

The tiny pin did not survive contact with the 3D printer. The feature is just too fine. The glue is actually holding on the second test mudflap; I'd have to really pick at it like I meant it to do damage. Maybe glue is Good Enough(TM).
