Thought I should post a build thread on this one, I've been slacking.

I'd like to start off by saying "I'm a big dummy"! I started by putting together a set of Injora highrise links, then realized I ordered the wrong set. See @majin your not the only one. 🤣

So, now back to the the start. First up, a set of Injora steering knuckles. The plastic steering assembly on the SCX24's have way to much slop.

Injora on the left OEM part on the right.

Axle, bearings and new knuckle.

All opened up.

All buttoned up.

Next up, front and rear Injora brass axle covers. All opened up.

While I'm in there might as well add a little Red and Tacky. Ok, I mostly did it for a splash of color. 😜

Looking good. Dig the color!

Ok, I might have skipped a few pics, whatta ya want, I'm old! 🤷‍♂️ 😜

Front axle all buttoned up. What I forgot to take pictures of is the Emax servo and Injora servo tray that you need to install it. So here it all is.

Also added Injora front steering links to help combat afore mentioned slop in the steering. There is no servo horn in the photo because I have a green o e on it temporarily until my new one shows up tomorrow.

meanwhile in the adding more weight department, a set of Injora brass wheel weight all the way around.

It's time to get a little attractive traction. Injora Swamp Claw tires and Injora aluminum beadlock rims.

Here is where I stop until I get new links.

Ok, that looks purdy. Are you doing anything to the body?

Are all the cool kids running plastic o-rings on their tires now? Fill me in, what's the secret? 😅😅
Coming along nicely 👍

Seriously, good eye, I wish I had seen that last night. I was wondering where that went, I had to round up another one while I was doing my assembly. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I'm thinking about a roof rack, other than that I'm not sure. I did add some D-rings to the front bumper though. I'm just kind of winging it as I go, seeing where it takes me.

Well, I mean, it's nice and all, but does this mean you're back in the groove? :hehe:
Getting there, I kept thinking about the Comp Fox while I was working on this, so I must be ready. I turned the AC down to 76F and I think that helped a lot. We usually keep it at 78F. It's just to warm to get motivated sometimes.

Oh, yeah... I'd almost forgotten about the Comp Fox. 🤪

78° 😵🥵🤮

That's insane bro! I can't breathe in anything over 73°. At 74° I am sweating. But I guess it's like an ice bath coming in from the 237° of Mordor.

78F is not bad when it's 100F out but still makes you sluggish when doing things.

California's electricity is one of the highest if not the highest in the nation. :( We do have indoor plumbing, they just don't let us use water. 🤣
