This is a homemade chassis from an aluminum clipboard I cut out, at the moment it is deadbolt length, but just got in a carrier bearing and looking at making it deadiator length. As always a working progress that will change as I go.
Also to mention once I had the holes drilled for the skidplate, it was like the sky was the limit, so who knows where this will push a Willy next.

That's sick! Quick question, I've never understood the angled trans mount/skid plate. Is it supposed to increase break over angle? I feel it brings the front lower, and that it would catch on rocks and stuff. Could you enlighten me? Thanks! Looks awesome too!

It does do that, to a degree but larger tires will make up for the loss. I made it so steep on an accident but was very close to Rock Block my other truck, so I ran with it.
When your tires roll over a top, the angle helps keep the back planted longer, and if you have the double bend links, then tire and angle of the skid lined up, you can get over most obstacles, and if not power down.
Rock Block is my best performing truck and has a 27* skid angle I believe, might be wrong on that. But this is a little steeper. I will put a pic in this of the Willys stock chassis beside Rock Block.
