So I'm wondering and wanting to get a subscription to a rc magazine, are their any magazines out there? I'd like a crawling magazine or any magazine. Let me know please.

Radio Control Car Action (RCCA) is heavy into crawlers-at least pictures and descriptions. Guess that's because what hobbyists are doing these days. Mag tends a little off with any kind of tech help. Still maintain my subscription hoping for the odd tech article. Basically, hang onto the subscription because it's all that out there. I subscribe to a combo print and digital versions. 'AC'

Car Action has gone downhill a lot over the past few years. Their reviews read like paid infomercials and they work way too hard at pushing products. My current favorite is RC Driver. You get both the good and the ugly from them, that's something I respect from RC Driver.

I was thinking about this the other day. Man, how things have changed. I've been a RCCA subscriber since the second issue, then gave it up for four years while in Air Force. Picked up the Radio Control Car Action subscription again for a couple decades longer, then sporadic after that. I pretty much gave up on the mag after they cut the number of pages in half and half of the stuff was nothing but ads. Also, you used to be able to look at/download older issues of RCCA with your subscription... they changed their online magazine viewer and did away with the older issue viewing. Used to be able to pick up $12/year subscription deal around Christmas, and Father's Day... I haven't seen that in years. If I could find a $18/year subscription to RCCA I'd probably start back up again.
Is Magzter a legit discount magazine subscription "seller"?

Car action mag has been around and printed since the 80's. They have definitely changed over the yrs. But still the #1 RC magazine out....IMO

Good info and basic reviews.

Their reviews are just like every youtube video out there....someone has to get paid. Haha

Are they free?
Oh I guess not
I'll stick with my free catalogs from AMain and YouTube review videos.
Is there a way to get the magazine online for free?
Awww how cute is that. 🙄

Traxxas is the new born. Arrma is the bigger brother. Associated is the grandpa. Traxxas's dad went missing.

I’m subbed to that one! It’s awesome!

I have about 3 or 4 years worth of RCCA, I don't think I ever cracked the cover on more than a couple of them. I was always too busy working on my stuff to read the magazines, lol. After a while, I stopped my sub because I wasn't using it. 🤣

Building, fixing, and restoring what you have. Is the best info you can get. Hands on all the way...

Just get the news letter. Which is pretty much the Magazine in a short version lol

No magazines to recommend, but I find the forums in valuable and the nobody can complain about the price. Endless thanks to @WoodiE and team for this. Just in case you didn't know there are many forums under the same network. I have used this forum (of course), Arrma and the RC Docs.
