My to date RC checklist...lots of painting and tidying of current RCs.
I'd like to get the buggy on the track at some point too.

Looks like your organized. I'm old school, a pile of stuff on the desk and whatever I pull out is what I deal with. 😆

The other RC goal I have, being on the bottom rung of the ladder... explain to my neighbors why the dust I make is so much fun and it's NOT my problem that it collects on the one neighbor's grass/lawn that he measures every other day.

Just to be clear, my neighbors are far enough away (at least a football field, or two) for me not to care.

Like me looks like you got a few that are quick and easy....and a bunch that are gonna take some time and effort.

As long as my neighbors don't care what happens I my place I am happy to do the same for them

I love spreadsheets...have quite a few of them. Actually have one sheet per RC to track things. When you got an almost 4 year old too, I gotta write everything down or I'll forget 😄

Sometimes the quick and easy take the longest time too! Those body posts for the TRX4 have been on the list for months, but I'm close to buttoning that up.

iv got a few things id like to accomplish this year.
1. end the year with everything that runs still running
2. get what's not running running.
3. don't buy any new ones.
4. make some progress on some long running project vehicles.
5. actually drive the damn things. (i seriously have cars i haven't driven in over 2 years)
6. this is adjacent/related. post 50 videos to my RC youtube channel. i don't always film when i run, so there's a lot of missed opportunity there. i managed to do it last year, we'll see if i can do it this year as well.

I've said it many times, a 1/8 scale buggy is the one "must have" RCs I'd choose if the wife said, "Pick one..." She would never say that though, because she's the one that is always buying my toys. You situation is a bit different. If I were in your shoes and moving meant downsizing... anything 1/8 scale would be a top pick.
Thanks for the advice! I’m going to try to bring a 1/10 ish size car but not sure if even that will be too big. And shipping is $$$. Trying to get something that won’t need a lot of maintenance since I’m going to be very busy over there and just want to run a bit- almost wanting to switch to crawlers so the rig is always ready to go!

  • Finish indoor micro crawler course.
  • Have fun on the course.
  • Compete in some crawler comps with my VRD
  • Compete in some Hobbytown parking lot races with my Losi Nascar and Slash.
    • Do not get sucked back into the parking lot racing rabbit hole

Health plays a big role.
If i'm ever in Idaho and you need help with anything, like yardwork or stuff like that, just shoot me a message and I can come help out! Sorry for the offtopic response. Now, my goal is to get almost all of my rcs running and operational, but its gonna cost like 3k, as I have 30 or so cars, and NONE of them work. I keep snapping driveshafts in my new 223s Mojave grom, so I am gonna make little limiting straps for it.

I appreciate that, but I'm not dead yet. I believe if I have a breath left then I can push my mower one more time. :D
I have help if need be but to be honest, I refuse it.

The only goals I really have are to finish the Comp Fox 😜 and get more play time in this year. I mean what's the point in having cool rigs if you can't make time to play with them.
