Hi guys I'm new here and I need a little help if you can
I just got a 1:10 Womaqu polar lights RC car and I'd like to order a extra shell for it the problem is there is no contact information on the box or in the owners manual for the company !!
There is a parts list in the owners manual but no matter how or where I try I can't find the shell !!
Does anyone out there have or know if any contact Information for Womaqu ?
I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem !
Thank you all and any help would be greatly appreciated .

Honestly, don't expect any support or parts availability for a cheap off-brand RC like that.

Maybe someone here on the forums knows the original manufacturer. The rruck's probably available under different names, since "Womaqu" only gives about 2 results on Google.

Thank you

Thank you but to me the $109.99 I paid for it is not cheap .
I'm on a fixed income and can't afford the high dollar RCs .
Hopefully someone will have some kind of information that will help me .
I just got out of the hospital after 4 1/2 months ! I had to have a high risk emergency surgery that went ok but I got the (19) from someplace or someone in the hospital and it totally zapped me I had to learn to walk again and I'm using this RC as kind of physical therapy to get me outside and moving again !
Being new to all of this I rolled the car over a few times lol and I broke the shell .
Hopefully someone knows if another shell that will fit it !

Welcome to the Forums!

Yah, that's a tough one. As @nino was saying the major have more support. That's why they cost more $$ to start. It's no reflection on your situation of course.

I don't have a contact (they are a ghost) but I have a few ideas.
  • Try to contact them via Amazon. Amazon has avenues to contact the sellers. If you purchased it somewhere else and you can always leave a review with a questions. The sellers do read those. If you're willing to buy a body they might be willing to sell one.
  • You might be able to fit another body on there. Look at the wheelbase and the overall dimensions of the body and look for something similar. I've seen some pretty interesting combinations. Beware, it may take a little bit of adjusting to make it fit and they are usually unpainted. The problem is bodies can get a bit pricey.

I know it's not cheap. But in the world of toy trucks it is. It's barely what we call hobby-grade. I couldn't find any info or even anything looking like that chassis in a couple minutes of googling, sorry. Like @Jerold said, try contacting the seller on Amazon.

Sorry to hear about your situation, hope you get better soon.

First off Mary, a huge welcome to our little forum here. Why you might not have an RC we will really be able to help you much with, there may be hope.

Don't mind the "cheap Chinese" comments, or anything like that. I guarantee you, everyone on this forum does their best to help where they can, especially for folks that are new to the forum and to the RC hobby.

The problem here is, while you can find a lot of what appears to be RC's that are quite similar to brands like Associated, Arrma, Losi, Axial, etc, most of the ones on Amazon are just cheap (as in price) attempts by Chinese companies to make an RC car that appeals to the masses.

The problem with these Amazon RC's is you're dealing with an RC company in China. If you even manage to get ahold of them, getting them to understand your problrm is about at difficult as teaching a dog to mow the lawn. And getting them to resolve your issue... hell, you just got your dog to drive you to work.

So getting replacement parts is easier said than done. The best way I have found to get a response from a Chinese seller on Amazon is request a return and refund along with a well thought out negative review. Other than that, good luck.

I feel ya on the fixed income thing. Working with a disability or two myself. It sucks! There are some great RC cars out there for a tad over $100, but they will be small scale. Like 1/24 or 1/18. Which a 1/24 pickemup truck is about this big...

I will see what I can find on that company and report back. Don't get your hopes up, but I will see what I can find.

Unfortunately...
I can't find any contact info at all for Womaqu anywhere. Typically, if you find an RC car on Amazon, you can also find it on banggood.com or aliexpress.com. Nope.

This leads me to two conclusions. Either they are a brand new company, starting out on Amazon, or they are an Amazon only company that found a Chinese manufacturer that would slap their stickers on the car. My guess is the second conclusion. In which case, your only options are to fix it yourself, or return it.

If you take the shell off and show us some pics of the underside of the shell and the RC truck without the shell so we can see the body posts, maybe we can find you a lid that will work. A lot of us here stick bodies from whatever on our RC's. You just gotta figure out a way to mount them.

What scale is it? How does the body attach? Clip-less or does it use body posts with clips? I found a couple of them on Amazon. If it’s 1/16th scale any 1/16 scale should fit, if it’s 1/18 any 1/18 scale should fit as long as it attaches the same.

Hi Mary. Welcome to RCT. If you have a hobby shop close by you could take your truck in and see if they could help you match up another body shell. Just a thought. Wishing you a quick recovery and thanks for joining 😊
