Have to get a deep well 8mm socket to finsh
Lol!. Hey guys i toke my motor apart and put it back together is it normal for some tension. Like it feels tight when it gets to the top of the cycle
I will update when i get parts and I'm going to post on body and paintHeck yea ,means you got some good compression!...![]()
No i havent and i went to the hardware shop and got copper rtv.If you are gonna order the parts, you might as well buy them all... They are reasonably cheap and if you find you have missed a damaged part, aside from having to wait, the shipping costs will likely be more than the part!!! Def get the whole deal... Anything you see or question. Out the old carb completely together and see if the other parts are stripped etc... Also, order the associated green slime. You will not reget it!
Btw, because the sealing of the parts is VERY important for correct operation of the carb, i would NEVER use jb weld in this application.
Did you ever find the bodies you were looking for?
Ill need to order that to but my first attempt i brought a 8 dollar tube if copper rtv. And got new orings and replace the old ones and used the to seal everything.I was talking about for the seals or o-rings in the carb. The green slime is the way to go if you can get it. Most hobby shops would likely carry it too. it's a popular product. You need something that will not harm the o-rings and provides good lubrication for installing them. It will also need to provide some layer of protection to allow for regular adjustments of the needles on a regular basis, without damaging them.
Yeah i did for everything. LolJust trying to follow what you said... You did not use any rtv inside the carb anywhere?
Yeah i did for everything. Lol
Yeah i read and look at a video. I didnt do it right by the way you sound. LolOk... Did you see and read the 'how to seal an engine' link in this forum?
